JUST READ IT!

I just want to say... If you are under the age of 15 and you are using this site, you should probably quit now. I understand i've seen some people 17-18 that still live with there parents, ive seen people in there 20s. If your growing at home, and still living with your parents... You cant be doing it in a couple of buckets in your bedroom. I won't lie, im 17 years old. I still live my parents, and still harvest 2 lowryder plants every 60-70 days. I would like to spread how I was able to do all this with younger symblings in the house, and my parents everywhere. This would also be amazingly great for someone living on there own.
First, I went to pccasegear.com and ordered the following...
Felt case feet 4 pack- .50 cents
Arctic Cooling Accelero L2 Pro-$22.00
lamptron anti-vibration rubber HDD screws(10 pack)-$4.50
Gigabyte GZ-X6 black case-$49.00
Antec dual slot super cyclone blower-$22.00
Some duct from a local home depot/lowes (90-92mm)
also some CFL lights (4)

How i'm set up:

I wired the box I bought with the fan and put a hole in the top of my pc box wide enough for my duct. I put my pc fan in the duct and that now sucks hot air and smell out of my house through a vent between the first and second floor(the vent goes up the side, and into the top of the box - I also put a home made carbon filter at the end of the duct). I put the felt feet under my pc box and rescrewed every whole with the new anti-vibration rubber screws. Screw your CFLs into the top of the case, Line it with a small amount of aluminum foil, Germinate your seeds, Get your nutrients and soil, Plant your seeds, Congratulations you are completely below the radar

P.S! - If you have a old monitor, It would be cool if you make it look like its hooked up to your brand new pc. That way if your parents see it, "Oh mom.. Its my new computer!"

No problem.

I would never grow in my parents house with out consent.

Your setting them up for some harsh legal problems in a worst case scenario.

At least grow guerrilla style, off their propriety.

Hell, I'm in my mid 20's and still live at home (just started a new job so hopefully that will change soon) and even WITH my parents consent I'm not growing here. After I harvested my guerilla grow about a month ago, I asked them if I could do a few plants in my closet in my bedroom. They said it was ok as long as I kept it locked up, but with my younger siblings I still felt too guilty about it. Even though the chances of something bad happening are slim and I would totally take all the blame, I couldn't put them in that kind of bind. I knew a guy a few years ago who got caught growing a single plant in his parents house (because of his own stupidity, long story) and even though his dad knew nothing about it and LEO believed it, it was still a major pain in the ass. The guy got probation and nothing happened to the dad, but it was still a legal nightmare for them. Not worth it. As much as I love growing and as much as it helped me stay positive and give me something to do while I wasn't working much, it can wait a few months until I move out. And just to be clear, no, I'm not some kind of loser in his mid 20's who's leeching off his parents. With the shitty economy and only working part time, I wasn't able to pay rent, utilities, etc and still pay my insanely high student loan payments every month.

Agreed, Wait until you leave and your on your own when you can do it safer than you even could home.

Just so you know, ala. they have plausible deniability they'll be fine. But then again, just being questioned by police can be embarrassing for many parents, particularly the suburban scum kids that come on here (half joking, because you are scum but it's not your fault). As for my parents, well, let's just say they were used to that. (And it wasn't my fault, usually.)
