So I was Thinkin this probably doesn’t happen very often..
Not particularly.
But!:!:
I’m a firm believer that knowledge is power.
So this is a little knowledge and my experience.
Take what ya want

Basic idea.
It’s windy AF out here sometimes and I’ve noticed better results with a little protection.

So I set out to build a cheap fence of sorts that would sow the wind entering the garden but still allow good airflow
As there will be a lot of plants.

Got a rolling of bailing wire!-10$
6 Tposts!20-30$ from my buddy’s salvage yard!
20 pallets from my good ol boss at Jimmys 4x4- Free
A box of 1”3/4inch wood screw- 10$
And a pair of lineman plyers-20$
It’s going down....

So there I Was,,,,
out pounding t posts.
Bout as High as I can get.:eyesmoke:
And It’s coming together
I’m feeling good
Then.
Was on my last t post for the day.
even the last couple hits.
I really wanted this one so I was” driving it home” ya know, givin it a wee bit extra somethin somethin,
Wasn’t wearing gloves
Pulled the t post pounder up to high
Went to slam the post
And missed.
Bazingaa!!!

Tbh
I Shouldn't have a middle finger now :finger:
Sliced me wide open
Down to the bone
Should have crushed it .
Or cut it clear off.
But just skimmed it.
Lucky me!8)
Not that theres much of anything else in the fingers lol
But by the grace of god
It missed all tendons and bones
9 stitches :wall:
And a tetanus shot later
I learned

1-The ladies like a little wind break lol.
Not just abuse from the elements.:spew:
2-Deep breathes can keep things like this from happening.
3- shit happens when you party naked
4-that I love gardening. And would do it all again
But #5!!!!!!!!
dammit WEAR GLOVES when your doing anything fence related, wire pulling, or shoveling.
I’d take em off for that one on one time with the ladies lol:weed:
But remember to put them back on lol!
Or you might not be as lucky as me!
What’s your close call?!
