Still getting email from subscribed threads

My thread subscription mode is set to "control panel only" but I am still getting email from subscribed threads. How do I make it stop sending me mail?
 
Well I just figured out how to fix it. When you change the subscription mode it only applies to threads subscribed to AFTER changing the mode. Previously subscribed threads retain the setting that was in effect at the time of subscription. You have to go into the individual thread subscription options to change it retroactively.
