You doin 4 hr or 8 hr tincture?

What dosage?
The first batch was 2 hours at 160°. Today, the 2nd batch is at 130° for 4 hours. We're gonna do another batch tomorrow with 1 ounce per cup of oil at 8 hours. This should start to get really frickin interesting.

Tip: The machine chops the product up so much and so well that a lot of plant material makes it through the net filter. Let what you strain through their strainer settle for a few hours in the jar. Get a 2nd jar and pour out the pure liquid into it but, keep the sediment out of it.

Ha! We left interesting in the rearview mirror this morning with twice what we took Friday night. Tonight we'll take some of the 4 hour stuff and see what happens. :fire:

Thanks RB.

So, my thought was to use this technique for making fem seeds with colloidal silver....what are your thoughts on that?

Nevermind, i see your next post answered...
If you have the free space, why not..
But the thing is that you should start the plant you want to convert into a male at least 2 or 3 weeks before you start the plants you want to fertilize.
You have fresh pollen probably between week 7 and 8 and thats to late to fertilize the other plants. They need at least 4-5 weeks to create deep brown and ripe seeds, the longer the more you'll get.
If you start the other plants 2-3 weeks later they will be in week 5 when you have the pollen which is the optimal window to fertilize them.
I would also recommend to keep the sprayed plant in its own little space and fertilize the other plants outside of the tent. When its done and you have little paper bags put over the fertilized buds they can go back in the tent.
2 days later you can remove the bags and neutralize the remaining pollen by spraying only the fertilized flowers with ph'ed water. And 4-5 weeks later you should have a new generation of fem seeds.

Ok, thanks for the reminder! Timing is a crucial component on this.

Very informative...

I’m currently going to personally cultivate “the ability to judge the crude drug” myself.

Later, i’ll provably dig into the medical side. Like brain softening, sensitive ovaries, and violent palpitations of the heart....
Interesting read. They had a pretty good idea of quite a few things back then!

Lol, you get down with your bad self and the owner of those ovaries!

I'll be doing a bit of brain softening myself. :blsmoke:

It's getting close! Flower day 10 today. Planning for day 18, next Saturday. With one less plant to do things will be a bit more sped up. Well, look at that. There is a bright side.

I'll get some new pics up when the lights come on today.

I'm playing hooky today. (:

Wasting away again in little tincture-ville!
Clipper fingers getting itchy?

The grand master’s defol: a few fan leaves off before 12:12 (very light), total brazilian day 14/15, nothin after that, he double nets after defol, so he couldn’t get back in there, even if he wanted to, and they stretch more than i’d like....

I’ll lighten up a little on the pre-12:12, do day 14/15 brazillian, then another if necessary.

They are. I'm ready for Saturday.

Hmm, I did a full defol a week before 12/12 and by 12/12 they were even bigger.

That’s perfect...idea is not to do anything that signif slows down growth...so if you do it heavier early enuff or lighter closer to 12:12, they should still be growing fast as the switchover to pistil devel begins...

Stick with your plan....

Flower day 14

Today was a flush day. I've been trying to do a flush between every 3 and 4 weeks. This is the 3rd since the grow started. Each of my 3 girls received 6 gal of pHd water only before receiving 1.5 gal with 6 tsp of big bloom, 2 tsp calcium and a half tsp of grow big. That should be the last N they get until week 6 after receiving another flush and half tsp. Next water will be the start of Beastie Bloomz which will continue until that next flush.

I think stretch is almost done.
