Stick like buds that don't fatten up just produce lots of leaves

bodhi is on sensible and green point seeds ships worldwide from their own website. check out the purple cake.

killawatt power meter is a really handy thing to have I got mine for this very purpose were discussing and have ended up using it for tons of things around the house

That purple cake looks nice. The problem I had with choosing seeds was they all looked good :). I purchased a lot of seeds last time and I still can't believe they all had bad genetics it's just not possible, well you would think so.

My suggestion is to just swap out CMH for HPS in flower. Better late than sorry. Be late bro.
Done, I swapped it out half way through this run because it was the only thing I could think of doing to try and save this crop. I think it can only be three things the bulbs, the genetics or the garage doesn't have enough air being brought in to supply the 4 plants.

Fans circulating air can help that. In my mind I want you to update in a few weeks amazed at the difference. Hopefully these girls pull thru for you.

Yeah I have 4, 15 inch fans blowing over the canopy. I will update you in a few week now the HPS is running. Also I will take a couple of pics before the HPS comes on to show you what they look like as the attached photo of that bud doesn't really show the problem.

Why use CMH to veg tho? I'm stuck there.. don't even want to read further.. the problem starts there.
I use the Phillips 315w cmh for veg.
20201021_165041.jpg
It doesn't seem to have any issues even though it's only 1/10th the power of the flower tent.

If I need the cmh for flower I switch to a 600w hps for veg.
Skip the MH. It's less efficient and testing confirmed by 2 different universities has shown that hps does not cause more stretching during the vegetation stage.
Most accounts of so called "stretching" growers notice is infact overall more growth of the entire plant due to the increased amount of PAR received from the 90,000 lumens of a 600w hps bulb opposed to the 60,000 lumen from the mh bulb.

Unfortunately "bro science" keeps people from trying things that just might benefit them if they gave it a shot...

I have found they grow very well in veg under a cmh bulb not much difference to a MH bulb. What do you veg with?
315 is max 3’X3’ footprint. You’re trying to cover more. I use straight metal halide but there’s nothing wrong with CMH. I would double up on them for a 4’ tent. Or go to a 600 MH or HPS. Minimum. A lot of commercial growers here switched to CMH and most seem to have swapped back to DE HPS for flower.

The one CMH bulb in the shade I have is fine for vegging no stretching. I then add another CMH bulb for flowering to make sure I cover the 4x4. The plants love the CMH bulb spectrum and it runs less power than a MH or HPS.

Those plants are flowering under the cmh bulb? I wish I could get results like that. I'm now thinking maybe my problem is I have the lights too close compared to how far yours are. what distance from the canopy do you have your 315 cmh bulbs and what shade do you have?

That was a definite 420 moment. I thought I said flower. I never read about anyone using cmh to flower.

315 Cmh is fine for veg or flowering, I haven’t had any problems at all. I only use mine in the winter time for the added heat. (I usually use LEDs).8D874BBC-3C95-424B-A0BB-AD316FF07376.jpeg
They can really bring out the frost too-

Wedding Cake S1 from GreenPoint Seeds.
GreenPoint has a great selection to choose from. Good luck man, I hope you figure out the problem. I was thinking that maybe it was the spectrum of your bulb (I use 3100k), are ya sure yours are 3100?

I double checked that it's the correct CMH bulb for flowering and veg a 3100. What distance and shade do you keep your 315 at?

My veg tent is the 315w CMH.
Light height is 13"

Lux is 40,700.

The flower tent is 3,000 watts of HPS because, although CMH is good, it's not that good. ;)

Hey now. Don't go disproving broscience with actual science.
