Steve Irwin - Crocodile Hunter

I'm so tired of hearing about how Steve Irwin was some kind of hero or someone to be held in high esteem...

The truth is, he made a life long living out of antagonizing dangerous animals that had excellent defense mechanisms, and he finally got what he was unknowingly asking for. All the while setting a terrible example for impressionable children; that nature is here for us to interfere with. So not true.

Jacques Cousteau, on the other hand, was a true conservationist - he observed and popularized nature, without interfering or antagonizing. Had Steve Irwin done the same, he would still be alive today to be with his family.
