Mk, i misted the soil on top of where the seed is just to keep it moist. I also put her in a humidity dome as I know they loooooooove the warmer humid temps when trying to spout, once sprouted ill put her back in the box under the lights.

Also, my first girl got her first blast of grow big today, diluted 1.5mls (about a 3rd teaspoon) into 1000 mls of distilled water, watered her soil down with it, then added a little bit of diluted big bloom (they love this stuff i swear by it now!)

Also added the fan to the box so that my girl is slightly vibrating, dont really know if this helps much but some people say yay, some say nay, but well see, update with pics after work.

unless the soil has dried out, do not add water. If you watered till there was drainage, when you put the seed in, that should last you at least 3 days.

Fans making the stem/leaves vibrate slightly will cause micro tears in the stem, which causes the plant to repair itself and make itself a thicker stem. That is a good thing. Thicker stems can hold more weight and move more nutrients. Breeze also makes CO2 more available to the plant and blows away the byproduct gasses of photosynthesis.

I didnt say I added water, and I didnt, all i did was mist the inside of the humid dome and guess what, it worked! I came home from work and the little girl was poking up, needed help getting the seed off, used some tweezers to get it off, now shes under light 18/6, wont get anymore water until that 2 gallon pot is dry.

Heres some pics of her (bubblicious sproutling) and my bagseed girl. For anyone new to my thread, the bagseed is the older girl.

First 2 - bubblicious
Rest of the pics - bagseed.

Oh, yeah literally meant like 1 spray, and it was inside the box for humidity, i swear, it seems like no matter what, on any of the seeds, once ive popped then under the humidity dome, within the day they come right out!

@ Balactus, thanks man, shes a little yellow for my tasting but i think its cuz she hasnt seen any light yet :) shes on 18/6 straight in with my other girl, which left her with about 4 hours of lights he got tonight. Also, even though her cotyledons arent even spread yet, i can already see the first set of leaves coming out from between them, too small for my phone camera but I guarantee we will see them tomorrow, I will never fuck with these rooters again, straight to soil I shall live by to avoid the shock so thank you Balactus, Lady J, Flaming and FAB for all the help you 4 have given me <3.

Once the cab is set up, im gonna put these girls over there, itll be easier working from the side, ill be able to LST and get a SCrOg net going, ill also be able to adjust the lights to the plants instead of the plants to the lights, cant wait!

Everything is looking ok today, my sproutling that just popped yesterday is kinda tilted to the side, hopin she will perk up in a day or two, i took out one of the 3 6500ks and put in a 2700k soft white light to give a small spectrum change.

Also, the cab was built last night, need to add the exhaust/intake and light fixtures then it should be good.

Came home, girl was laying on her side completely against the soil and losing color, im thinking its because the soil is very nute heavy, sooooo just to see if shed make it i put her in to a rooter to see if shed perk up again, who knows though.

My first girl is going great! Lots of new growth coming out. Shes currently in a 1 gallon pot and im sure im going to want to upgrade her size right? If so, when is a good time to transplant them, or is there a way to tell if her roots are blocked from growing more due to the size of the pot?

when your girl is about 1 foot tall, if she stays compact, it is prob time to transplant. If she stretches alot due to lack of light, that measurement wont work.

My first girl hasnt got much height to her, shes staying pretty short and growing allllllot of leaves so far, about 3 nodes high or so? from where the soil starts the main stem is only like 1/4" tall before the first node starts. I dont think it was underwatering, the soil around her when i took her out for the rooter was moist but she definitely wasnt taking. On my next bagseed im going to try a different medium, what was it, soil wise, you were recommending for seedlings? Gonna try a few ways until I find what works for me.

what are the temps in your grow room?

I use promix and jiffy pots. but you could use pro mix and solo cups with 4 holes in the bottom. 14 bucks at the home depot. 4 cubic feet. It has NO nutrients in it. so you would have to buy some. I recommend maxigrow. concentrate powder, complete in all nutrients and will last a couple plants. 15 bucks where I am.

Yeah i got the fox farm trio my temps stay around 79-82, they drop a little at night, but i create that by having my wall ac unit set to be at different temps depending on the time of day, in general plants like the temps a little cooler at night, such as how it is nature.

Im thinking the girl may recover in the rooter, she still has some green to her in the center even though she was completely limp on the dirt.

*Update* Day - 18

My girl is doing great, lots of new growth coming out, as you can see she hasnt gained a lot in height but is packing a lot of growth, perhaps signs that shes more indica then sativa? Maybe another 2-3 weeks in veg before switching to 12/12 for flower, well see how it goes, may go sooner, may go later :)

Heres some pics.
