Sterile rez?

Whenever I do a res change after adding nutes and ph'ing I have always added 1 ml per gallon of what's in my reservoir. I've been doing this for years and never had any issues with rot. I run flood and drain tables keeps the tables clean and the roots white. I may get me some pool shock at Walmart now
the one that says super In the name, flip it over and you see it says 150g treats 10000L of water, the one without super on the label treats 10000L of water with 300g. Stay away from the super shock aka step 3... my Walmart only carries super..

Had to go to a pool store to get regular shock because my Walmart only has 4in1.

i used to use Dutchmaster Zone when i started many years ago. then they got bought out by Fuji and they were supposed to start making it again.
by then i had switched to pool shock.

and now southern ag to go the bacteria route.
I'm lazy and run the Zone, It works great but is obviously more expensive than pool shock. I used to love making my own nutes and additives but for all the time sourcing, figuring and mixing, it is just easier for me to just pay more and drop the headache. Pool shock works but I'm not into handling it weekly, some powerful shit.
