took apart a pc wired it up put some lights in, voila

Where you able to trap all the light?

a good bit but its hard with the fan but im workin on it the only spot is on the back so i might just cover ever part but the exhaust

Where do you plan for this to sit? Whats around it? To maintain stealth you'd need a carbon filter for odour, and that would block light perfectly, but you'd probably need more fan power.. What kind of temps does it maintain now?

hands down the best use ive seen yet for a dell pc

well this is for one mother from my rubbermaid grow. so odor shouldnt be a problem bucause it will only be for veg. and the temps arent bad i have a passive intake and both the exhaust fans pictured are running at 12 volts
and i have it pushed back under the desk pictured so the back doesnt have to be perfectly light proofed

PC cases are sweet for mothers because they're big enough, and they cool really well..
I'd try to fit some kind of opaque, not too reflective on the inside duct in there so you'd be pulling air from the upper front, then you can light seal the entire back side.. If you can't fit it across the top, I'd move the fan to the bottom, and pull the duct to near where the fan is now.. Basically just pulling the air through a pathway that light can't follow so well..

yea im not worried about it being perfectly light proof i might juse get/make a louver

They make digital temp gauges for PCs.
mounting one of those on the front/side would be great!

I'd just run the fan 24/7.. No sense getting tech about a box to hold a mother plant.. Save the coolio gimmicks for the flower chamber..

true ill probly need that for more lights for the rubbermaid.... im setting up a false wall for a flower room in my closet with the rubbermaid

props on doing it yourself and not wasting your money on an expensive case that wont yield much more if any
