I can relate to this thread. I bought a kit from SH this year, the 'flower' bulb they sent went defective in like 2 weeks and I had to contact them several times until I got a replacement. Recently, the plastic tub sprung a leak and the 3 bulb sheet metal light assembly broke. Obviously, their Quality Control sucks. Just about everything they sell can be purchased elsewhere. IMO, they have a gimmick and market to newbies -like me- who didn't know any better. The long term business prospects don't look good for a company like that. Don't piss off your customers with lousy quality products and crappy customer service.

Basically my man you nailed it and we on here are a little pissed that SH took every advantage they could with us noobs learning Hydro. But it is our faults so lesson learned and appreciated.

Roseman has been making money off all the new guys cause they are unaware of the quality they sell. Why do you think roseman stalked the "Introduce Yourself" forum linking them all to the Stealth Hydro Bubbleponics thread? He is the biggest spammer I have ever seen on this site

I also agree that Stealth Hydro takes advantage of newbs by selling products that can easily be duplicated for a fraction of the price, but Roseman is not affiliated with the site in any way. He DOES NOT make money from them. I just wanted to clear that up.

And how do you know that for a fact? Because he said so? I have heard from numerous people on other forums that he has been trying to sell SH shit through other forums. I called him out on it numerous times via pm and he has never responded, only read the messages and said nothing. If he has nothing to do with them why not just reply and say so?

Obviously there is no way to be sure that he doesn't make money from them, but I trust him. How can you say he does make a profit from SH? You act like it's a fact and you have no idea either. Plus, why would he make a thread that shows detailed steps of how to make your own? My point is, you can't accuse him of something which you have no proof of.

Can you explain why he wouldn't respond to me so that he could clear his name?
Why he would troll the introduce yourself forum and link them to stealth hydro thread?
Why he would welcome people to the bubbleheads even though they clearly were inexperienced and couldn't help others?
He tells all the newbies that they could join some club and get a discount to the site... sounds like he is just trying to get as many people to go to stealth hydro as he can

I am not pointing fingers at anyone personally I am a business man and go by the way of Get in where you fit in. I posted this thread as a way to voice a little frustration about SH and the way they do business not to attack anyone personally.

I ordered some things from this place 10 days ago, a lot of people say they are fast, but so far I think they are on vacation, lol. Well I finally left a voicemail today, hopefully I hear back tomorrow. I have heard a lot of good things about this place, and some bad. I think that goes with most online shops that are not big companies though. A lot of people 'run' these companies as a part time thing, it's pretty simple if you have a hand full of orders a day.

I was missing parts from my pump and my drainage kit... I emailed them and they sent our the drainage kit at least but I have to drill it myself, I paid extra for a premium service, it really should have been turnkey. I just had to go and replace the pump because of the missing part.

I don't get it, who cares ?

He helps people out, is a nice guy, has DIY threads on how to make the same exact kit he sells, but he tells you how to make it cheaper. He is willing to answer stupid noob questions that most people ignore. He contributed a lot to the site.

He makes money. For arguements sake, I will agree he owns SH. So what ? If he was making posts telling us how superior his system was, how superior CFL's were, then you might have a valid point. Thing is, he didn't. He offered info on SH, on other companies, on DIY versions, where to find what for cheapest price (Lowes, Home Depot, aquairium stores, etc).

I understand "spaming" the board is against the rules, so what ? This is a forum based on people who "break the rules" regularly. I think it's funny that we have any, let alone have "regulars" trying to enforce them. He also gave lots of useful info. He helped people grow with CFLs, but always acknowledged HID to be the superior system. He simply gave "lazy" or "cheap" people another option to grow and a person to ask questions.

He took time out of his life to help people. No matter how you look at it, no matter if he made money off SH, he still helped countless people regardless where you got your supplies. That counts for something. Why the hate ?

Heck, towards the end he was even hyping AN over SH nutes. He even posted a link to a place that sold them cheaper then SH. Thats either stupid businessman, or just a nice guy.

He personally has sent and donated items to me. He has personally helped me, and for that I am thankful.

I don't understand why him making money off SH = him a bad guy ?

I work on cars, so any car advice I give is BS and spam ? I am a honest guy, and willing to help regardless of my job. Some sales people, although rare, are able to put the "sale" out of mind and actually focus on the person seeking help.




and for the record, I will never order through SH again. I also had some issues with my shipping. I ordered extra nutes that never came, and they ship with a POS chinese air pump that worked maybe 3 days for me. The pros for me, was a kit in one package. I was new, and doubted my DIY ability. I was unsure. Getting this kit, with everything in it let me learn. I would do it again, if I had it all to do over. My first grow went without a hitch. I had everything I needed, except a quality air pump, and nutes. Got those easily, and got to better understand the system. Maybe I am stupid, slow, whatever you want to call me, but it worked out great for me. Now I am able to build my own, and make it a better system for my needs. It allowed me to try out hydro for my first time.

Sounds like a lot of thoughtless slander if you ask me. I've seen you go after Roseman before, why do you have to be so petty? You have absolutely no proof, only suspicions, and we saw from the last administration how tragically wrong suspicions can be. What is it in your makeup that should make you so hateful?

So now Roseman has left. He helped me and many others with his advice drawn from his years of experience. I blame the likes of people like you for driving a good man away. Of one thing you can be certain, there are many who are pissed Roseman is no longer here, and I blame you for one as to the reason why. Your petty jealousies are inexcusable. Take your problems elsewhere, we were quite happy without you here. There are plenty of other threads for you to spread your hate.
