Sterilite does make a black tote.
Bought 2 from wally world almost 3 months ago.
Was there to buy the usual totes I'd been seeing and saw these black totes /w lids.
20 gallons, ONLY 2 IN THE WHOLE PLACE !! NEVER seen them before and been to this store thousands of times.
Anyway, I bought them. Used insulated padding w/ aluminum foil backing to cover the tops.
Couldn't get temps below 73F.
A week after starting my dwc in those totes, I changed up to 2 - 12 gallon Igloo Marine coolers.
Temps stay 62F - 64F.
Label says UV Block Inhibitors built into cooler outer shell.
VERY light proof with my 2 inch thick Insulated Styrofoam lids.

im surprized noone said just get a 5 gal black bucket thats what i use i just wrapped a few in insulation tape to keep the temps down but its much easier then paitn

My boys Weedler and BeaverHuntr both have 5gal COOLER containers.
The kind like at work sites with the tap/plug.
Both have thread going too ! Check first 2 pages of DWC section.
They JUST made the change about a week ago.
Both are loving it now, instead of their regular buckets.
NO MORE TEMP /LIGHT PROBS WITH COOLERS = NO MORE PH PROBS !!

I kid you not if you have water temp issues these coolers keep my water at 68-69 Degrees for a week at a time.. Im only vegging under T5 so im not creating much heat also have a 9,000 BTU Portable AC unit but I'm sure when I bring in the 1000W HPS to flower the coolers will definitely pay themselves off..
