i just got inspired one day to try growing a few plants. spending minimal money and using anything from around my house, just to see if they would give me any nugs. read lots of articles and watched a few movies. so i constructed my stealth garden from a speaker cabinet, a disassembled lamp and... :?tinfoil.. haha.

it keeps a nice warm humid environment for my plants.
germinated my seeds and planted them. within 12 hours a little green had already poked through.

hahaha not at all. the only thing remaining from the original cabinet is the wooden box. the speaker was not functioning when i started and was headed to the trash anyhow.
 
just creeping up on the 24 hour mark. good growth so far. that third pot is reserved for a plant currently at my friends house.

now knowing about the dangers of tinfoil i decided to try some fairly reflective 'photo paper' i had laying around. it makes the inside of the box almost blinding now.
i was wondering about lighting. do i have enough in there? 1 warm 100w cfl and 1 cool 15w tube? i was considering adding one more 100w in there?
 
Majorly updated the garden tonight. Along with new walls i put in a homemade yeast C02 bottle. a hood over my light. drilled some holes in the bottom of my pots for drainage. added a tub underneath the pots for bottom fill/over flow.
So here is the revamped garden and seedlings at around 3 days.

This one got named Barqs. creative eh? I can see her second set of leafs poking out. She seems to be growing alot more than the other plant.

Barqs is ahead in growth, but both plants are coming along nicely.

8 days.
Barqs had some issues but i think i've saved her. she was laying in the dirt one day when i came home. i think it must have just been weak on the root. so i buried it a tad more and all seems well. funny thing is now the flower is growing completely sideways. oh well.

i did the same thing just wanted to see if i could grow them myself cause wut you get is pretty much is free weed...im using an old fish tank that i cleaned really good i just put them in soil last night but only one popped up so far...i germinated them for 2 days how long did you germinate yours for

i germinated mine for not even 24 hours. they cracked quickly.
i was planning on covering them right now actually. im just headed to wallmart for a two way splitter.
