lots of times ill be in this scenario: ill be going to get some small item that i need for this one moment, and when i arrive at kroger, or wherever im going, i think to myself...i could definitely get away with this. So i do. Other times, when im buying beads to make hemp necklaces for example, the whole box is 8.99, right? but the 2 beads that i ilke are on top. one flimsy sticker and they are mine. i figure i can live with somebody simply thinking they have a faulty sticker.

Anyhow, i this its kind of a rush, but thats not why i do it. I've only done a pre-emptive theft once.

Stealing embraces the dependency to materialism..Slaves of worldly objects and gain cannot quench the unending lust of greed. Stealing feeds the addiction to mundane, inconsequent articles deemed laudable by an acquisitive society. For those bound to such trivial pursuits will have an unforfilling life by pinning such value for objects and things that temporarily accompany you in the short time you have on this earth. No object is worth the anguish and melancholy from one who has been robbed. It deepens my sadness in man when I see those hurting each other for such trivial things. Stealing cannot not be justified nor glamored in any condition, save for survival. How petty or small it is makes no difference, it is deplorable. Rise above the sensual desires of man's egoistic nature..Break free of the bond to worldly gains and live a life free of such trivial substance..and you shall be enlightened.

haha..i did that light bulb jacking once...i think it was the thrill of going on someones porch or going to a business and stealing something that most people would be like "wtf..someone stole my light bulb?..why?"..that was way back in the day and i haven't had an urge to do something like that in a while..but it was fun though..hehe

haha, I've never even heard of just jacking someones lightbulbs. Wouldn't it be shitty if you did that and got shocked real bad? Haha.

I used to steal shit from stores, I'll bet everyone has, or went through a phase. It is pretty fun but at the same time it's so not worth it, I try to stay away from catching charges at all costs now, lol. We would just take a buncha shit into the changing room and wear something under our hoodie or w/e, its a great way to get a pair of long john's.

And fuck the system, btw.

A thief who does it for the rush? lol

Have you ever been caught? I imagine that would kill the rush pretty fast
on the contrary, I had friends back in HS that would just run away, and get away. That's a way bigger rush.

It's easy to steal, I'll bet like 1-2 percent or less get caught. But if you got caught that would be pretty shitty.

Running away and getting away -- no matter WHAT the situation -- is ALWAYS a rush

I'm talking about being caught, as in CAUGHT. Not just someone sees you, but you get your ass caught.

Some places have you caught but don't do anything for a while. I had a friend who thought he was slick, would steal from stores, never a shit load at a time, just a little here and there.

Then one day, probably a year or so after he started doing it, BAM! They hit him with charges, they had just been waiting and letting shit rack up until it was a big enough deal to fuck him over for it.

haha..to be honest?..back when you're under 18 and all they do is pretty much slap you on the wrist and tell you not to do it again, it's adds to it..because it's so trivial and stupid...i got busted for drinking a beer on a water slide at a closed amusement park when i was 17 and when i was in court..the judge was pretty much.."wtf?????...ok.......um..talk to the D.A."..it's such a stupid thing..i wasn't causing any real harm, i was just hammered drinking a beer on a waterslide..lol

You wouldn't be white by any chance would you?

lol, I know someone who got into some trouble the DAY he turned 16. Because he was 16, he was prosecuted as an adult and ended up receiving a felony strike. If he had still been 15 it would have been nothing, judge said so himself.

So yeah, being under 18 doesn't mean shit

lol yeah I forgot about that. I remember like on our 16th b-days we were all like, fuck, we can really catch charges now. And we did, lol.

Hey, at least I'm in college now! I'm already getting myself out of charges instead of just being fucked over by them all the time.

well i know with some serious shit you can get charged as an adult..but not with petty bullshit...i don't think that ever crossed my mind then...i was REALLY good at getting away with shit...then when i hit like 17 i got charge after charge...so i figured i would cut the shit for awhile ..even though when i do dumb shit now the cops in town know where i'm from so they just blame it on that and tell me not to do it any more..lol
