static full melt dry sift

Look drysiftwizard i know you sell wooden framed screens..and i know you want people to keep thinking they need to waste a bunch of money buying you're "special" screens but they dont...so i kindly ask that you please keep your negativity out of my threads from now on. if someone tries what im saying and it doesn't work please do post .. but you're not trying it.. your using wooden screens...then saying my method doesn't work which is false.. when really it just doesn't work with your screens.
You don't even know what the mesh is made of.. you are shooting blindly in the dark at this point in time because you did something TWICE. I've done my method thousands upon thousands of times in varieties of weather/frames/meshes/materials/etc. which is exactly what an awesome method should do.

Is your method awesome for certain people who already have a bunch of dirty sift they want to clean in a different/new manner? YES.

back in the day when thomas edison invented the light bulb... if there was some lantern salesman fallowing good ol tom around to wherever he talked...telling everyone "look this guy doesn't know what hes talking about ... i carved one of these things(light bulbs) out of a stick and it didnt work for shit"...... that you..
And you are the one telling people you have a 100% method that people cannot replicate easily unless they go buy things to mimic your method to the exact detail.

What is the difference between people buying stuff for YOUR method, vs. people buying stuff for MY method?

Do you have a real reason?

And overpriced is funny bro beans.. Anyone else sell 3 screens with nice sifting surfaces, a usb scope, cards, vials, feet and foam for 200 bucks shipped to your door in the US?

I'll give you a hint.... (no)

If you take those 2 frames you just had dude buy, plus shipping you are talking 60+prob. 15 ish.. 75 + a scope for 50+.. no vials, surfaces, extra screen, cards, or anything else and you're already above the cost of my basic kit which includes all but the scope, and only 35 under my price WITH A SCOPE AND a 3rd screen.

OVERPRICED BRAH.

Love how you ask me to keep the negativity out but rip me and my products while having no idea what you are saying.

dude MnH i can do nothing but laugh at your ignorance.. all im trying to do is share so everyone can make their own full melt dry sift.... what reason would i have for misleading anyone?? if anything that would discredit myself... unlike you who has an invested interest in anything that discredits the information i am giving out freely.. let me show you how dumb you are ....where to start.

"You can twist your own words any way you want" show me where i twisted my words champ

"Telling people this works 100% and nobody else can mimic it unless they buy a special frame on a special mesh on a carpet while wearing special shoes and using a piece of cardboard? You showed how to spend 40 minutes cleaning less than a few % out of some very clean sift. B.man showed how to do this with a card years ago. So you can get it a few bits cleaner using static? Nifty."
this was good right here.. really .. bravo.. i dont know what delusional world you live in where that can actually be taken for a legitimate argument but for your information nobody has tried to mimic it yet..you see to mimic something means you do it the same and if your going to do it the same your going to need a metal frame... you understand? now all that other stuff i dont know.. special shoes? special mesh? i did say i was standing on a carpet... the video took 40 minutes.. like ive stated many times .. it was my 2nd time trying it and it was still new to me and i was also trying to make it easy to see whats happening for the camera is that to inconvenient for you?? dont you sell a whole set of "special" screens for way more then what they are worth, that your to greedy to tell the real sizes of?? dont you mislead people in your threads as to what size you use so if they are trying to make their own the make the wrong micron size?

"So you can get it a few bits cleaner using static? Nifty" ?? a few bits.. with this method you can clean the dirtiest dry sift possible into pure heads..

"It's a neat trick, nobody is denying that, but why waste the time 'cleaning' it when you can just make it that clean to begin with?" why buy a bunch of expensive screens and do all that work when you can just put it in the tumbler then clean it up using my method to an even cleaner consistency then yours all the while collecting ALL the heads that fell off not just a very small percentage of them..also using your method you have to clean the screens alot while doing it.. how long is it going to take you to sift through a pound...rough up one handful and then clean up the screens... one handful then clean up again.. have fun with that shit.

"You showed how to spend 40 minutes cleaning less than a few % out of some very clean sift"
actually unlike your method this method gets almost all the heads.. few %??? did you not watch the video?? did you see the pile i started with?? did you see the piles i ended up with?? u see doing this method ... you can knock off ALL the heads then just sift them out using static .. with your method the only way you can get purity is to only take the ones that knock off really easy all the while trying not to be rough with your trim(because if you get plant matter in yours there is no getting it out)and by doing so ..your leaving most of the resin on the plant.

"Oh I see.. you get to skip the sifting part? LOL. Compare apples to apples kiddo." LOL?? there you are again .. thinking i have some agenda .. and once again.. unlike you im NOT selling anything so i have no reason to mislead anyone. the sift was from regular old sugar trim that got roughed up near powder on the screen.. take it or leave it but please dont voice your opinion again until you have tried it.

"My method takes 10-15 seconds at a time. My 'tutorial' is 3 minutes long" ya and your processing baby amounts.. good luck producing on any kind of a scale at all.

And at the end of the day... it's been 5 of them and nobody has replicated your method on 2 sites now.

You did it twice. All I want is more than that from already super clean sift.

I think you think.. I don't like this method. It's not for me, but if you are going to claim it works 100% and people can't replicate it unless they go buy things, then it doesn't work 100%.

You can think i'm overpriced all day if you'd like, but everyone who has priced this stuff will tell you that you are wrong.

Also, you might have missed it, but I gave up my method *for free* as well back last August on ICM broly.

Stop making me out to be some ass who never helped anyone lol. I got people a faster method to make amazing dry sift and so did you.. except that you went a direction most others do not.

Hate all you want, but you are giving me crap for doing the same thing you did almost a year ago.

And LOL @ you claiming I 'withheld' sizes on purpose.. nobody made the ones I wanted you clownshoe. So when I said 'i've tried everything available' I was in no way misleading anyone.

Maybe you missed the part where I had my own made for my own method?

And at the end of the day... it's been 5 of them and nobody has replicated your method on 2 sites now... WRONG AGAIN NOBODY HAS TRIED IT WITH A METAL SCREEN i suggest you stop lying to people.
you and daub tried it with wooden screen and a different card.. does not count. nobody else has tried it.
please just stay out of my threads you add nothing from your own experience with this method so you have no frame of reference.

Oh, special screens!!!!

Talk about hypocrisy running rampant in one thread. Gives me shit for having certain setups then yells and screams when we don't use 'certain setups'

Haha.

aluminum is good mine have an aluminum frame thats what i meant

"Also, you might have missed it, but I gave up my method *for free* as well back last August on ICM broly."
you sure did

Really?
Never said anything like that. You yourself said you recommended a solution you knew to be sub-par to protect potential future commerce. At the time you presented your recommendation as the result of extensive experimentation and experience. Difficult to reconcile the two.

I considered getting some different mesh sizes to test but have not done so because you explicitly stated that you had already done it and 86 and 61 gave the best results. Led me to waste time changing other factors in an effort to improve results.

Seems crazy that you're willing to compromise your credibility when starting a business. I can promise you that at least one person who would have been an enthusiastic supporter is no longer so. I'd be concerned if you had my name and address at this point. Open and straightforward wins the day in the Internet age.

Not a bid deal in the scheme of things."

lets continue this conversation in your thread MnH

Uh huh.. I improved my method since that thread was posted almost a year ago.. your point is what, exactly?

Are you another one of those who think improving is bad for the community as a whole and i'm a dick for making better products??

Haha. I have a 180 lpi aluminum frame sitting in front of me now, and the exact same parchment you used. Back in a bit.

After experimenting with this method several times now I can say that it DOES absolutely work. It also does not matter which frame you use wood, metal, etc.
I cannot stress enough that the material I have been using is just beyond contaminated and dirty to begin with. TBH if this method could turn that trash to even 90% heads it would be magical. There is a limit to its effectiveness, but I believe that in most cases you should be able to significantly improve your purity through the use of this method.
Here is how it worked for me.
Charge material by sweeping with a toothbrush (any nylon brush will do)
wrap paper (any kind even printer paper) around a card or something solid to scrape with.
scrape the material and you will notice two bands. One of containment (visibly greener) that has collected on the side opposite of the direction scraped, and one of the approximate mixture as material you are cleaning. Separate the dirty pile and clean if needed. Start off with slow swipes and as you want to further refine it start using faster swipes. starting material 1.jpg after cleaning with paper.jpg

I tried with some pretty nasty stuff in warmer temps last night, and in cooler temps this morning.. an aluminum 180lpi frame, on top of cardboard, done exactly as OP.. it worked, but I found that a lot of it got pushed through the screen.. I ended up with a nice dusting underneath the frame as well as on the parchment..

It def. cleaned it up, but I think as Daub pointed out, there seems to be a limit it works to.. if you start with 85-90% I have no doubt you could clean it up to 95%+ and even higher.

What I was working with was very green, very full of hairs, and I found that the 'scraping' if you will of the green stuff around the heads as well prevented them from sticking as well as they probably would have wanted to like in the original video.. being he had very few bits of crap in there to start..

With dirty stuff, it def. worked, but as pointed out probably not as well as it did with the cleaner stuff to start. What was under the screen from being 'pushed' through while doing the method, wasn't that great, but def. some lost in that process, and had to do it all over again a couple times to get it all.

Yep garbage in garbage out, and I got that garbage to like 75-80% heads so I have no doubt if you have a somewhat decent grade you should be able to get it to melt (mine wouldn't). This method is one of many ways to clean your sift, and should be put into your bag of tricks. Its no magic bullet, but it still works great and is surprisingly effective for its simplicity.
It's going to push stuff through, but it shouldn't be pushing down the heads that are bigger than the holes. There is a lot of stuff that is smaller than the holes but does not go down due to gravity alone because the static causes it to cling to the nylon. You could limit the size of the hole, but that keeps more contaminants as well as the heads. You can also use a vacuum to pull the other stuff through if needed. (another trick in the bag)
Its important to note that it does not seem to grab the heads as OP mentions, but rather catches the contaminants.

well all 3 times you used a wooden screen didnt you?... if your not going to use what im using then it doesn't count as trying it.

"Nobody has gotten it to work from what i've seen on the other thread"

thats because i have only got 1 other person to try it and he used wooden framed screens(no offense daub) ...

i posted this here in hopes of finding some people who have access to enough product to do some testing on a larger scale .. hopefully someone with a nice camera.
I am interested to do some testing of your technique on a larger scale and I have the camera and lenses to show details. I am supposed to do a session with DSW to show what traditional sieving can do compare to his process and I will have everything tested, especially the terpenes profile.
Come and see me this week-end at the Cup in Santa Rosa, Aficionado and/or TGA booth

Stop fighting like you still are in kindergarden. It is not even funny anymore!
You want to show that what you do is the best, you are welcome to come and put it to test. I will bring the trims, the camera, the macro lenses, the photographer (TC) and anything you would need. Then we can talk!

You're doing a side by side shootout? That's freakin rad. Hopefully it will happen so that everyone can see these methods and realize that high purity dry sift can be made easily. Once they taste it they'll be hooked for life.

Side by side dry sieve, traditional, "New Age" and ice water sieve from the same material.
I will have everything lab tested as well because there is much more to quality than purity, full terpenes profile for one, cannabinoids content, etc.
I will also press the dry sieve and the ice water sieve and have them tested weekly for twelve weeks.
DSW was invited and accepted the invitation on ICMag, invitation(s) are open to a degree and you can meet me at the Cup this week-end if you want to share the experience.
