Alright so I just cut down my first plant two days ago and my second today and I was wondering how is it supposed to feel while drying because mines insanely squishy and sticky and I'm worried it will get mold is that normal to be squishy like?

Yeah they'll be squishy, they're full of a shit ton of water right now. Where you hang them to dry just make sure there's some air movement and it's not just stagnant air to help reduce chances of mold(you don't want to dry too fast though, so don't have a fan blowing directly on the buds). Also don't let humidity get to high obviously.

Alright thanks for the info
Welcome. This is a very critical stage of growing, or well not growing now but you know. You can really fuck up all your progress, so read everything you can on harvesting and curing to make sure things go right. Good luck!

Yeah I've been obsessively checking my jar to see if it smells weird or there's any mold forming lol

If they are fresh buds like you say, 2 days old. Pull them from that jar asap. These things need to breathe. My first grow I put the buds in a jar. Within a week the were all moldy. Put them in a box with heaps of holes or netting or peg them to a clothes line in your cupboard. Just get them out of the jar

What bud said. They shouldnt be in a jar yet. Get them out asap. Spread them out to dry for 3-7 days until the small stem snap before putting back in a jar
