Starting new set up, Looking for opinions

So this is my first "New thread". Ive grown before successfully and am going to a new set up for current one.

54x35x84 Sun Hut $200
Hydrofarm 400w HPS $200 (incl. bulb)
Couple of 6" osc. fans $20
Trying out Kushy Kush nutrients ($44) going with Kush strains.


Previous set ups were 150w HPS 4x 4ft Flouresents (check my albums for pix).

Anyhow, anyone had any luck or reviews for the Kushy Kush product from AN? I did research and found that Potassium is better used in higher amounts than Phos during flowering. Is this correct or anyone have any comments on that? Will 400w HPS be enough light for flowering for 4 plants? The room with light alone got to around 87 degrees F. Havent tested with the plants or fans on yet. Planning on using either Co2 cartidges or dry ice for Co2 production. Any comments on this? (The room would need 0.96ppm Co2 for optimum growth).

Sorry for the wall of text, any comments reviews or recommends are helpful.

Also forgot to mention, Using Organic Iguana Juice Bloom for base and Kushie Kush for boost. Any opinions? First time Im using actual nutrients. Going to trans to 5gal containers and use Fox Farm "Ocean Forrest" for soil. Any reviews?
Also what is good to use for odor, dont really want to get an ozone gen cuz its not great for health. I heard of gels, candles even Light Bulbs that eliminate odor. Any opinions?

FFOF very popular around here, you'll like it.

Rosemans Ona gel dispenser is a good DIY project. a 5 gallon bucket with gel/water mixed in the bottom. Holes in the sides above the water line and a small fan blowing down into the bucket.

You can go the carbon filter route too, but unless you plan to drop 150 or more depending on your needs, stick to the DIY varieties.

yeah, i am down with the ffof too.. nice product.. never used the kushy kush, but then again, i don't grow kush.. sounds like a nice product, but haven't heard much about it other than what the ad in high times says, but i always take that with a grain of salt..
i think the 400 should be plenty of light to grow 4 plants with..
that roseman's diy odor bucket looks like a sweet piece of kit, you gotta check out his thread on it.. some peps imagination is unbelievable to me, and this is one of those times...
87 degrees sounds a little on the high end of where you won't to be at for good growth... i have heard that dry ice works good for co2, but i think i also heard that it can be a lil pricey and doesn't last all that long.. but i have never used it nor do i know of anyone who has so i really can't comment one way or another on it...

is $50 really necessary for nutrients? I'm new but i'm a fan of age old organics. You can get the 2 part system for like $10-20 i think? The money you save could be put towards micorhyzae products or maybe a UV-B bulb . Then again im not familiar with kush, maybe it is more picky with the nutrients than other plants.

Most nutrients are $15-$25 per litre where I am. I chose AN cuz of their research and reputation. Plus I havent seen a review for Kushie Kush yet so Im going to do side by side comparison with GH nutes and AN nutes. Using Iguana bloom (from AN) for base then having K.K. as additive. Both I believe are organic. First time using real nutrients so trying to keep it simple. Also, Im putting all my knowledge, experience and tested processes to work on this one. Going for the best yet.
