Starting New crop

Just starting my new crop, same picture, cant seem to get my camera to turn them out right so they dont look like they do to my eyes....
but hope good enough in at least one of them ...just got this bunch yesterday...a lot of different kinds...
In the Hydro, is bc god bud, ATF, White widow, Dutch Treat, Jack frost, Pure Hawaiian (Land Race), and White Russian.
In Soil (didnt have enough hydro buckets)..
Is one BC God bud, jack frost, purple walrus, MW (maui waui sp?) , PP (cant remember the name), Critical Plus,
ATF Clone 1, and DW (Cant remember the name)...going to be doing both soil and hydro until I can afford to get more buckets...
and I need a second grow tent... so for now my kitchen is my Garden...as its the only room that isnt very busy very seldom anyway

I am using Advanced Nutrients...just the first two for now, the advanced Grow, and Micro...till flowering, then the Bloom and probably
will add the advanced jungle juice or maybe some of the other types of lil extras advanced has...
Now I have a question.. How often if at all should I spray the foilage, and should I just use plain water, or some thing in it? or just the water I am
feeding them with?...
How tall should they be before beginning flowering?...and do I take clones just before I begin to flower?
I am also testing some clone gel for the hydro store, X clone gel and clonex gel to see which if either seems better..got a free sample
so why not have fun too...even though I am sure lots of ppl have already done the same test...

X gel and clonex are about the same. X gel sticks a little bit better so nit as many drips on your legs. But they worked the same for me. I only got samples of x gel so never bought any. And plants are looking good.

ok Thank you, I figured it was a pretty close run between the two, but he asked me to when I told him I was doing some clones and gave me the samples free, cant pass on free lol.... I sure wish I could get my camera to work properly or find the correct setting to get some really good pics with natural color...guess I will have to play around some more with it or buy a different camera...Will post some more in a week or so or when they have grown...this is only my second try at growing, I learned alot from the first time.... "Crash Course" but at least I now know what a spider mite is what it looks like and what they do to the plant and how to get rid of the lil buggers....rofl...Well been up since 4 am pacific time so im going to call it a night you all have a good one...night

if your in veg. Use flash when lights out. If in flower Under hps use a regular light above the plant and take your pic above the hps level. Just zoom in. This should fix your problem. But mist of us spend slot of time in our rooms snd looking at photos it's second nature to just see the plants. And night. I hot about an hour more in the room then it's bed for me. Got up at the same time. TGIF

ok I will try that with the camera, I guess im in veg?, just got the plants in to hydro about 3 days ago...so thats called veg right...then I figure 20 to 60 days before I start them flowering?...I am using HPS, 1000 what, so far its worked for me to keep the light on 24/7 just raising as needed with the plant growth until they are big enough to flower... maybe if I turn the light off during the day long enought to get the pics they might come out better will try that...

Veg is anything but 12/12 light. And 1000w I would go to 18/6. 24/0 is for clones and reveg. And you only veg to 1/2 the hight you want them to finish at. If you want 3-4 foot plants vag till there 18 inch tall. Or SCROG lst like crazy.

ok I am researching scrog it seems there are two different types Sea of green(SOG) and screen of green(SCROG)? ok reading about that now...So by keeping the light on 24/7 Im doing something wrong?...and if I want to start the flowering at 4 foot I should actually start the flowering at 2 foot? because they will continue to grow taller once flowering starts?...I think I am confusing myself rofl...I am going to go and try to get an actual pic of how tall they are now...I have never fully understood when to start flowering.....so I will be back as soon as I get those pics...and after I read about SCROG....
