Starting my first indoor grow today....many questions.....Help

Hi
OK......I am gonna start buy things today, my first question is i am thinking on getting an aeroponics set-up, it comes with rockwool, tiny rocks, growth, and bloom fertilizers, do i have to use the stones on top of the rockwool or can i just leave the rockwool itself in the cup? ok now to nutes. this is where i really need the help, one person says soak your rockwool in PH 5.5, then another person says to just dip it...so i am kinda struggling which of the 2 to do???
Second, i plan on using fox farm products for nutes and bloom any info on these nutes would help me tremendously, my grow is going into soil and or pearlite, what do you think about using just pearlite????? or go with a 50-50 mix? and in cloning gel i have been told to use clonex gel, is that a good suggestion or is there something out there better? any sugg. would be helpful. Now onto lighting i have 9 plants already going, 6 sweet indica, and 3 sativa hybrids which the cuttings will be coming from, right now i am using 4 T-12 floro. lights and the seem to be working great, the next ones i am gonna get is T-5's probably 4 more just for the simple fact that they are energy efficiant, do you have any other sugg. on lighting diff. from what i am using? keep in mind i want to stick with something that is energy eff. dont want a 500 dollar electric bill getting me busted....ya feel me? and the last question...should i have a heat mat under my ponics system??? and if so what do u recommend, when it comes to this aspect i am totally ignorant, if i am using one, i want one that the thermostat comes with it.....and what temp. should it be set at idealy for the clones! and back to nutes any info about PH and products would be greatly appreciated.....this is a great site and thank all of you that have stepped up and passed on any info....god bless mental :eyesmoke:

Go DWC, VERY VERY cheap to make your own dwc gargen.

i would say about 50$ total and you can have a setup ready to begin your grow journey
