So I'm starting my girls inside five weeks in about two feet tall my question is I've got them on 13/8/1/2 to get them ready for natural light? does this make sense or a horrible idea?

I don’t think that lighting schedule is necessary, remember these plants are hardy and can take a lot of neglect. Going from 24 hours of light straight to 12/12 works for a lot of people I know. Naturally days get shorter and longer. Honestly I think that might stress out the plants and promote herming.

The plants i grow in my greenhouse i start from seeds in the Greenhouse using a heat mat and natural light. It's a learned skill to move plants outside without them preflowering and re vegging causing smaller and less fruitful plants. Seeds planted now will produce large strong plants in a Greenhouse,if you have room pop a few seeds

where are you located at Eddy?

The op brings up some valid points tho.. last season was my first time I had some plants start to veg early after moving outside.. I am definitely trying to avoid that this season. Jorge Cervantes recommends a 14/10 light schedule. However it seems this is enough for some strains to flower. The best bet might be going for 18/6 and hoping for the best
