Starting a San Diego Medi clone vendor/club?

Hey fellow RIU'ers,

I have been contemplating something for a few weeks now. Another patient and I had considered growing meds for some of the local clubs (there are plenty these days).

However, unless we upped the size of thre grow and went perpetual I don't see how taking it to the clubs equals out over keeping it ourselves. Just my personal opinion.

Then it hit me, I watch clones fly off the shelves all the time. I have seen ads for "private clone clubs" before as well.

So I got to crunching some #'s and I was stunned. Before getting into all of that, I would like to know if there are any other medical growers in the SD area that would be interested in putting something like this together?

100% legit, totally legal. I won't do things any other way.

I just want to know if there are others out there that would to at least discuss the option.

Please let me know, whether it be a post here or even a PM if that makes you more comfy.

I would suggest build a website and you can detail all your info on the site and you can meet people instead of paying for a storefront location. I was also thinking you could produce seeds as well and sell them cheaper than clones.

I live in Corona, which is right outside of San Diego. Where exactly would this go down?
Once I get these details, then I'm down.

I wouldnt mind seeing this and maybe even being a part of a clone coop.
Thanks for the reply. I am not looking to run a brick and mortar type club here. Not even so much as a co-op I guess, but more of a vendor of clones, to clubs and/or other patients.

I will send you a PM detailing a bit more of what I have in mind, and we can go from there.

I love the website idea for sure. I have a few graphic design artists for friends, so that part should be easy. Like I stated above, I am looking to provide clones to clubs and/or patients instead of an actual "co op."

Basically join their collective(s). I believe our state laws say that our plant #'s kind of go out the window if we provide for clubs.

I kind of like the seed idea as well. We may have to look into that further, depending on what laws say of course.

Sending you a PM as well.

Corona is a bit far, but people commute all the time right?

As far as "where" I am not exactly sure yet. One of my reasons for reaching out to others on the boards here was due to lack of room. I can harbor 25 mothers no problem. It's finding room for all the little cuttings.

I can hold some of course, but just don't have room for the #'s I had in mind.

I will send you a PM in a bit here as well.

If anybody else (around SD) is interested in at least discussing this, please feel free to join in.

Well I actually planned on moving out closer to San Diego because Corona has changed a bit much from when I was a child. But never the less, I would drive out there.

You are smart to want to deal with dispensaries and also to patients. Here is a link to a pretty cool website. Pretty cool huh. This guy has a lot of hot mamas.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~You guys are aware that the California Supreme Court recently struck down the stipulation in the law that says a patient is limited to the 6 mature and 12 immature plants. Its reasonable to say the average patient would need at least 20 large or 100 small plants (SOG).
I have heard that about the plant #'s actually. SD county has a limit of 24 per patient though:
San Diego
City Council guidelines allow up to 1 lb of marijuana, 24 plants in 64 square feet indoors; no outdoors growing allowed except in enclosed greenhouses.
Also, I like this guys style here with the clones. I use rapid rooters as well, and have great success so far with them and some ez-clone gel.
Just cut some branches off some plants that were 24 days into flower. It is 8 days later and over half have roots. Some have little masses like you see in the pics on that site (not the crazy one).
Anyway, about to send you guys some messages here in just a bit when I get more of a chance to sit down.
Doing your own thing is a better bet than soliciting clubs. I know about 5 club owners in SD and 2 in OC. They get over 10 vendors a day at times soliciting them. Everyone is growing now...everyone.
YO Statik,
I too live in SD. damn Chargers lol. I know 99 plants is the Feds limit. Over that and it's byebye for a long time. Don't drop the soap and all that. Do you know something about the business? or just trying to supplement income? I have taken a class on MJ law. I don't know how to get around the 99 plant limit, or even if there is a way. I am interested though. I'm pretty sure the only legal(in California) way is to get a bunch of people cloning up to their limit. Each would need documentation allowing raised legal limits on the number of plants. 6 mature 12 immature for most of SD COUNTY. SD CITY is 24 mature last I checked. I live in the North County and here we have a branch office of the ASA in Vista. We should meet up there sometime soon and discuss with them. I'm sure they know way more about this and the way to go about setting this kind of bizz up.
Let me know if you are interested...
I grow for personal use but I would be interested in helping out with a project like this. Also I have some friends on the web side of things that could do our hosting and web setup really cheap, if not for free to get started.
