Starting 2'x2'x5' 4-6 bubbleponic drip fed system, couple of questions, help please!

Okay, I've spent countless hours it seems researching lately. I am in the process of starting a modest system in my 2'x2'x5' tent. I made a drip fed bubble system with two drips per net pot. As you can see in the picture it is currently set up for four plants, but I can re-configure it for 6 (which would be ideal, the more the merrier right?), I am however, concerned about over crowding. Lighting for veg and flowering stages vs. limited size is also a concern of mine, I realize that a 400w hps would be sufficient for 4 maybe even six plants, when adding a blue strip for flowering or something. a 400 hps is very hot though from what i understand but i had planned on a 4" inline fan w/active carbon filter from the get go (might as well do it right if you're going to do it at all) I have also thought about running autos in this set up simply for the ease/time, I realize this is a whole other subject entirely. My most burning questions are, is running 400w hps with a 4"inline fan still going to burn my house down because of my small tent? are 6 plants too much for this set up? Should I maybe stick to four and run some 2x 250w? Most impotently, can I expect a yield even worth a damn with this set up, given proper care of plants?
Strains I have been looking at are fem'd white widows, AK autos, maybe even lowryder #2.
Have not thought about nutes at all, waiting to get more of my set up complete
My goal is at least a .5lb per plant. Am I f*ckn dreaming or what?? PLEASE HELP IF YOU HAVE THE PATIENCE!!IMAG0145.jpgIMAG0146.jpg (a closer look at my double drip set up) P.S. I'm still learning I'm open to any suggestions!

Bubble buckets or bubbleponics dont need to be top fed.

5lbs per plant huh? youre dreaming man. If youre a good gardener, you can yeild 1g per watt of light. so do the math.

You want ruffly one plant per square foot, you have 2x2=4sqft so you should run 4 plants. you could fit more in there if they are smaller, but thats a ruff estimate.

Hahah 5 lbs i wish! I mean 1/2 a lb, .5 or roughly 200g per plant..pipe dreams maybe and literally! But why wouldnt i top feed that? How else will the roots get the water/oxygen?

do it right and you could pull 15 oz a plant even more if done right you can top feed with a drip system but you dont have to just fill water level to the bottom of net basket and the bubbles will do the work

Thanks az30, fok 15oz. would be ideal! I'm afraid my area is a little cramped and will definitely be upgrading after first harvest with something quick like some autos..maybe keeping that small thing as a curing room. With a striaght up bubble system where you said you raise the water to the bottom of the net pots, is there a cycle with the water? do you drain it for a day or a few hours ever? let it run 24/7 for the whole time?

Just for reference my 2 ladies in buckets are overcrowding my 3'x3'x6' tent. The height is not the issue its the spacing that the buds need from the other plant or the tent walls etc.

no, you raise the water level to a few inches below the netcup, the roots dangle in the water, and you have a big ass airstone in there that is constantly running providing dissolved oxygen to the root base. add nutes, adjust PH and call it a day. watch and wait.

Dang, have you re-vegged them or are they on their first cycle?
