started pineapple chunk seeds today

found a grow journal on another site & this is gonna get good i was havin my doubts lowered my tub to the floor & supercropped today switched to gh floranova bloom nutes today i was starting to worry but i think im gonna be able to pull this off

i saw pineapple chunk seeds and my eyes light up 25% thc 55 day flower sounded way too good to be true but ive been growing barneys farm lsd for a while and every single seeds produces an amazing plant that flowers in the 9-10 weeks they say gives 12 inch long colas. so i really trust barneys farm as there lsd strain is so amazing but ive only read bad things about pineapple chunk so far which sucks cause i really wanted to grow it but i guess ill stick to lsd. my plants are 2 weeks in atm and have more/bigger buds than yours >.<

the pineapple chunk seems a little slow to me i would hold off & watch mine as im watching a grow of it on another thread this stuff is very large & unruly but is starting to settle in & program i was really starting to trip until i found that other thread his buds are really lookin good these pics i took this morning im not gonna rule out 55 days, but i dont see it happening heres pics taken this morning

heres a few more pics taken this afternoon when i fed plants are now 5' tall even after topping,tieng down & super cropping now using gh-floranova nutes as i bought out another grower & have 2 gal. of it plants are settling in & making buds its been a long wait but i think its gonna pay off i was worried at first because they were a little slow to start budding i estimate harvest about mid sept.

mine has been flowering for 7 weeks now and look like there gonna need atleast another3-4 weeks,yeah,barney farms miss informed us,this sucks cause ill have to rip it out or its gonna fuck up my rotation,idk what im gonna do yet

nothing indica about it im gonna ride this out as i have no choice but next grow is gonna be dinafem blue hash & maybe dna kushberry thrown in as well they are tried & true performers this far into the grow i shouldnt be worrying if this stuff is gonna produce or not, bottom line barneys bullshitted us 55 days & indica, it just dont add up the way they said it would & im not gonna cry over spilt milk but i aint happy at all due to how this stuff is so slow to produce bud im used to faster finishing plants thats my prefered way of doing things if i wanted a sativa i would of ordered jack herrer or something like that ill make the best of this & ill post untill its done & ive smoked some & im not gonna bad mouth the stuff or praise it untill i see yield & quantity im just saying its slow & when youre paying for power & nutes time does make a difference i hope its worth the wait

pics taken this morning in spite of my grumbling the stuff is progressing & i do enjoy growing it i just dont think barneys thouroughly researched this product before releasing it they say 55 days but i estimate a 70 day flower period it is starting to give a slight scent when you rub a bud & of all things it has a hint of lilac to it the color & vigor to this strain is good & ill have to point out the good points and not try to pic it apart before its had a chance to prove itself, im guessing its gonna have a sativa high to it as well ive developed a good canopy & super cropped. at 5' tall theyve finaly stopped stretching

been a while since i posted....sorry to hear about the inaccurate information....but you have to roll with the punches you know
at least they are looking healthy and vigorous....maybe a little too much lol
who knows it might just knock your socks off.....either way it is your baby and they have the duke, cartmen and the scarecrow it might just be a little shy lol

hey d.s.s. im once again faced with growth complications as my top leaves got too close to the light i upgraded to a 250cfm duct fan to see if i cant cool the light a little better ill post pics of the damage in the next few days

hey d.s.s. i have a question ? arent you growing kushberry??? ive been looking at kushberry[dna] & dinafem blue hash i wanted blue hash next but already got greenhouse super lemon haze started & ready to clone

heres pics of plant damage i cant tell if its nute burn or heat problem from plant growing into light i suspect nute burn because i had started flooding every day as opposed to flooding once a week also damage spreading to lower leaves its only on the pineapple chunk lemon skunk & rocklock are unaffected

naw i'm not doing kushberry.... maybe you mean hashberry?
anyway super lemon haze is a good choice from what i have heard...not too much first-hand experience with it though
but kushberry and blue hash.....i will have to look those up

those pics by the way show a real problem....but cant really see the leaves too well......I hope they revive.
how long until harvest do you think.....after your recalculations?

im still thinking mid sept. i wont let sick plants tie up my growroom this pineapple chunk has been a problem strain for me & i know most of the blame is mine but im gonna cut my losses, convert my room back the way it was & quit experimenting around i need to focus on tried & true methods & strains as im definatly not the sharpest tool in the shed. i have headband 707 ive cloned & slh too im gonna upgrade to a 4x4& 1000w. by x-mas then i want the blue hash been researching grow journals & it seems like a good user-friendly strain. meanwhile im gonna finish what i got going off & make the best of it

here is pics from this morning it looks as if the worst is over i flushed 5 days ago & ive fed with mild [5ml. floranova bloom per gal.] nutes today ive removed most of the damaged leaves & have some new growth i might get something out of this yet

plants show slight signs of improvement today for comparison i took pic of leaves left is rocklock & right is p/c which looks sativa dominant to me

plants are showing more signs of making a recovery ive lost a lot of yield but at least its not a total loss these pics were taken tonight

what day of flowering are you in?

over fed & burnt theyre about 35 days into flowering, thought i was gonna loose it all, the lemon skunk pictured below wasnt damaged

ok its been awhile since i posted in this thread this grow has been a roller coaster barneys ,pineapple chunk isnt what they claim it is but my opinion has changed in the past week these are huge plants & dont display indica traits at all the 55 day thing aint gonna happen either , then there was the die-off which was totaly my fault i had spider mites & put a hot-shot no pest strip too close to the plants & it killed off a lot of growth i couldnt figure it out until we tried the hot-shot on 2 other grows & had same results do not leave hot-shot in room longer than 48 hrs. pineapple chunk gets better late in the grow & yields good havent smoked it yet , but even though its not ''as advertised'' its gonna be pretty good to me & i cloned it for a friends grow & have 1 growing outdoors. i dont think you can evaluate a strain until its been cloned & grown from the clones so im still holding off on my final verdict, but feeling pretty good about the stuff & finally its even starting to impress me a little bit heres pics at day 73 i hope this helps some of you with questions about pineapple chunk
