hey d.s.s. a happy 4th to you & yours, didnt get to see the fight, whatever lesnar lacks in technique , he makes up for just by being a monster in general ,while not being a big fan of brock i gotta respect that brute power he radiates hence the nickname for aggressive growing plant . here is pic taken this morning where i topped plant yesterday, clone was taken 10 days ago & was sprouted in regular old ''jiffy'' peat puck $5.oo-for 75 of them at k-mart &they work as good as anything the hydro store sells for 5-times the price . cloning is a big part of how i grow as i usualy dont keep mother plants my operation is too small for all that so i just clone as i go along & in summer months i have an area on back patio i keep small plants & cuttings &stuff like that going on, no set pattern ,just whatever it takes to make it happen kind of a learn as you go experience i guess you could call it:mrgreen:

some of that growth was already there about 1-1/2'' happened in a day i topped the others too i should of cut the light about a week earlier than i did. yeah i figure to get 2 colas also gonna prune some of the bottom stuff off tonight & then its hands off until they finish its getting late to be pruning & topping i think i got the idea of cloning the jiffy-peats on youtube & gotta say i had my doubts but it works & they fit right in 4x4 rockwool blocks like they belong there that pineapple chunk is new & next grow i figure to get it dialed in its pretty easy to grow , harvest will tell the story though i cant wait to see buds & finished product

the growth continues i topped the day before yesterday when i got in today the 2 sems that resulted from topping are growing into the reflector i turned light 12/12 the 27th of last month they should start budding soon & all this growth should start filling in with bud-sites & upward growth should slow down:peace:

hey d.s.s. !!! hows it going???? all continues to be going well here my work seems to have slowed down again so im tending my growroom ,snapped a couple pics & raised the light:mrgreen: plants are right at 40'' tall with quite a bit of sidegrowth im gonna prune off some more of the non-productive bottom growth today i usually do 9 plants but this time i'm only doing 7 [thats how many seeds i had] next grow its back to 9 i think ill do lemon skunk again as it seems compatible with the p/c while i wouldnt consider myself a cashcropper i do sell off enougt to finance nutes & other supplys for each grow so something productive & quality is a must bongsmilie i'm highly optimistic about this grow & cant wait for final evaluation of finished product barney's farm pineapple chunk so far is what they claim it is:peace::blsmoke:

its going well....just put my recent grow on 12/12 so lets hope for mostly girls
they are still a little small this grow so i might put them back on to veg lighting
your plants look healthy though......have you done any training for them besides topping?

not yet but im gonna do some slight supercropping & maybe cut a little off the bottoms in order to keep a nice even canopy this growing method im doing is very simple & gets results i imagine there are better ways to do this hydro stuff but this is the best for me so far . i feed 1 time a week & prune & train a little but they pretty much do their own thing & i kinda coax them along

selected my best clones & put in ph'd 3x3 rockwool blocks with mild nutes they are then placed on styrafoam slabs & there they will grow in the sun until i harvest then they advance to growroom:mrgreen: i have been sitting the babies outsidi in the shade at first ,then a few hrs. in sun every day to condition them before advancing to full outdoors . if you expose them to direct sun right away they'll die of shock:cry: in winter months i advance babies under cfl. in small cabinet:peace: this continual process does not require a ''mother'' plant as i clone off whatever my current grow is:blsmoke:

right now i have a few running at the same time and honestly i might have bit off a little more than i can chew
Strains:
Rocklock fem.
Jock Horror fem.
Venus Flytrap fem. (nirvana)
Shortrider fem. (nirvana)
Lowryder reg. x4
Satori reg. x4 (mandala)
Hashberry x3 (mandala)
Northern Lights x3 (nirvana....i think)

the VFT and Short have been vegging for about 3 weeks and look good, but compact
the others have been in for about 2 weeks but varying results...
i am using miracle grow soil and starter nutes
i have a 250 w MH and HPS bulbs on a 18/6 with a small fan
its in a 2ft x 3 ft closet kind of thing....lol

unfortunately i have to move them in about a week or so so I am trying to force sex them so I can get rid of the males before i move....but i think i might just be extending the time to harvest.......luckily the lowryders will do whatever they want so i can depend on those coming through regardless.
I am actually really excited about the satori.....
Admittedly, i think i am a little impatient right now or maybe too excited cause i am doing irregular things.....noob mistakes....
well you always miss 100% of the shots you dont take......

there you have it HH....any suggestions?

rockwool works good you might have too many plants but it will get better when you eliminate your males then clones will keep you on top of the game youve got a really nice variety hydro is faster especially shortens veg. time you got the right idea it dont matter so much as to how big or small your set up is what really matters is that youre getting in there & going fot it . this stuff is nature & dont always bend to mans will even if you missed a male or 2 you would end up with some interesting stuff 4 next grow hashberry, jock horror, venus flytrap & northern lights are top-notch stuff & now you got me curious about the satori. it sounds like you are on track i would roll with it my first grows were in home-depot potting soil & schultz plant food it worked good & i had a blast doing it too & i cant really think of any improvement over what youre already doing ,except to relax & enjoy the ride, you cant loose if youre enjoying yourself thats really what counts i enjoy growing as much as fishing!!!

ok obamasmokesweed here it is first i cut stem at 45-degree angle then dip end in cloning gel poke hole in plug with toothpick & insert stem i use a cake pan with clear dome from grocery store & egg carton to hold plug then i use clamp-on lamp &75w. cfl. place dome over pan sit in box,on shelf or in a tote & clamp lamp above mist clones 1 time daily for first week then every other day remove dome when you see roots i cant get clones to take any other way even though others can im not one of them hope this helps i think i use same clone gel as you the powder works too
