If you were permanently installing it, they make titanium clamps that are virtually corrosion proof. There's a reason they don't use SS to make the coils inside chillers. SS is fine though IMO. Careful because some clamps only use stainless for the band section, not the actual screw/hardware.. the cheaper ones anyway. Many people use SS mesh screens in their y-filters\strainers, or sometimes even wort chiller coils to act like heat exchangers in the res. It's higher grade than most the clamps though. Saltwater will pretty much corrode anything with enough time. Could take years and years and years.
