stadium set up

it seems like when u use a cool tube horizontally you lose alot of light. do most people agree putting it vertical. just seems weird having the plant grow sideways to the light. idk would appreciate info

If you are limited to space and want to expand, vertical is the way. I have a 3 lights in a vertical cool tube and have not looked back.

how do u cool yours?

I cool mine with a ruck 200m inline fan. Depending on the wattage, the best way to figure it out is to take the wattage of the light, i.e 600, add 20%, then divide by two, that is the min rating of fan needed...i.e a fan that pulls 360 cubic metres of air. (a 600 fan needs at least a 5 inch (125mm) ruck fan - or equivalent make)

Go to icmag forum they have a whole sub forum dedicated to vertical grows. As a newb, looking for the same thing as you, that forum had exactly what i needed.
