Stacey Abrams Advocate Trouble

So yesterday afternoon when the wife got home she told me that somebody towards the front of the subdivision had a Stacey Abrams for Governor sign in their front lawn.

I made the comment that the person in question is a brave soul. (For the record, it's about as republican around here as it gets.)

So she just left to head down to Georgia Tech to pick up our daughter and calls me just moments after she left. There are now 4 cop cars at the house in question.

I made the comment, 'Well, that was fast."

Further bulletins as events warrant.

that's voter intimidation (and junior high school all over again;same people just older) and as long as lawn signs are allowed according to any HOA rules, that person has every right. period. neighbors don't like they can look in the other direction. i'm sure they've exercised their right to a lawn sign? yes?

i would contact the abrams campaign and every newspaper along with a local channel or two..the ACLU and NAACP.

Why does she speak so weird, which is worse than Trump that sounds like a hillbilly who got lost in New York a few years?

""As he has done for years, Brian Kemp is maliciously wielding the power of his office to suppress the vote for political gain and silence the voices of thousands of eligible voters -- the majority of them people of color," Abrams spokeswoman Abigail Collazo said in a statement."

That's awkward AF.

Why not, "Brian Kemp has continued for years, weilding the power of his office, to maliciously suppress and silence eligible voter voices in the thousands, the majority of whom are person of color (by the way), all for political gain."

I also watched her challenger's campaign video, it was like going back in time to watch Boss Hog from The Dukes of Hazard.

These are the type of qualified people running the country, it's no wonder we're doomed, and deserve our fate.

She needed a break anyway.
So did I. I had gotten to the point where I continually rose to her bait - maybe because it was so very stinky.

Or maybe my tolerance for narcissists, which was never very high to begin with, has just gone down to zero in the Trump era. Either way, I will try to chill out on her. I had been trying - but she just kept saying the stupidest things. What really peeved me was the fact that there simply was no Trump-troll that she didn't love. I guess she really needed the attention.

schuylaar didn't mean to hurt choomer..choomer schuylaar friend.
choomer is adorable (and smart) i'd do dabs with him.. where'd he go @UncleBuck?

I noticed she likes the patronizing type too.

Her profile is still active. Was it a temp ban?

This was the only Thread I found with Stacey Abrams in the title. This is a crazy thing @TacoMac, especially looking back on it. I saw her this morning on Morning Joe, it was awesome I see why she did so well.

https://www.msnbc.com/morning-joe/watch/stacey-abrams-voter-suppression-should-be-key-issue-at-debate-73744453867

Her answer about "Medicare for All" is outstanding. I don't know what the whole Biden/Abrams thing went, but I think it would be a great way for him to go, she is highlighting the big issues.

Morning Joe, much like the rest of MSNBC, is establishment propaganda

Look at the way he framed Warren's plan. He said she wants to "take away healthcare for 160 million people". That's not what her plan says, so why did he frame it that way? Warren doesn't want to take healthcare away from anyone, she wants to replace private health insurance with universal coverage and cover everyone.

Political influence doesn't have to be foreign for it to be wrong and undemocratic

They are annoyingly dumb at times for sure, but they get good guests and commentators to offset it. They don't leave out strategically placed facts to sell a narrative, they just comment on the news that is reported.

Why did Scarborough say Warrens plan would kick 160 million people off healthcare?
Because he is a jackass and was being dramatic when explaining that I'm guessing 160 million people currently have insurance and Warren was talking about putting everyone on her plan, which would of course also remove them from their current plans. If he said it.
