sprouts were topped

I believeI know the answer but I'm just praying here...I put my really good baby sprouts outside last night..they were an inch or two tall..one set of leaves...something ate the whole tops of them...only the skinny root left..any hope of survival or they completely done?

damn you have some bugs that were just staring in your window waiting for you to put that plant out to get those juicy leaves..
