spring site ideals.

Hey guys, i've never done an outdoor grow before. just indoor. but i'm planning for an outdoor grow come spring. i've scouted several locations and found one i think will be perfect. it is a 50 acre forest that meets up to my 100 acre forest. my forest is old grow and to big and shaded to grow on. but this 50 acre is all new growth and belongs to a neighbor. (the neighbor is a hunter but he is older and uses mostly shooting houses over looking fields. his forest is 10-20ft tall trees and bushes and thick growth. you can only see maybe 20ft in front of you in the woods and you cant just walk through it, you have to almost crawl through it lol. there are openings through out it. each opening in the forest is 4-14ft in diameter and should work for growing, there are also patches of staghorn sumac i could probably grow under. where our properties meet there is a creek so i could carry in water from there every time i visit. the site i picked is up hill probably several hundred feet from my property near the center of his forest. there is a gully washed in the hill that is 8ft deep and goes near my grow site. so i can walk nearly 200ft through the gully unseen . one of my problems is that i have found a beer can 50-100 foot from my site and it concerns me. it is an older can though and the paint is faded on it so i think it may be from when the forest wasnt as thick and was easier to walk through. as an extra precaution i plan on planting stinging nettles and ragweed. in the area around my grow to deter and camo my grow. and also use the nettles as a companion plant. im thinking of just using a seed spreader and spreading nettles right at and around the grow and a little further away ill spread ragweed seeds. to keep from getting caught by a deer cam i'll wear a hunting mask everytime. i also plan on planting mostly autos so i can plant inbetween hunting seasons and a keep a smaller plant. i'm growing for medical only and don't plan on selling anything. so i don't need many plants. just a small patch with a few plants. i plan on planting the plants in the ground in a hole i dig and put better soil in. im going to cover around the plants with leaves and leave everything looking as if it grew natural. because people have grown near by before in a near by game refuge. and i want my plants to look natural that way even if someone finds it they will think it just growing wild. and hopfully not look for a grower. lol. i plan to cut a few key trees. and plan to cut at the very bottom so there is no stump and drag the trees very far away. i also plan to back pack supplies in, one at a time and drop them in the gully and check my grow site first every time before i haul it the rest the way in so i'm not caught red handed with supplies. i plan on going in to the grow 1-2 times a week to water, etc. i'm going to put animal repelent spray everytime i go in and pee at the site also. i plan to keep things as natural looking and low profile as possible though. so what do you think? can i pull it off? what you think about the beer can? and what do y'all thing of the stinging nettle and rag weed ideal?

oh and i'll try and upload pics of the place in the next couple days, when i can get back out there.

Now is the perfect time to scout next years grow spot. You can see what the sun is going to be like during flowering. When you think you've found the perfect spot, place a $20 in plane sight in the center of your spot. If it's still there in Oct.......your Golden!.......if not, it cost you $20 to save yourself lots of heart ache......sounds like a good spot.....good luck....
