sprayline/laser line vs. pvc w/sprayers

I am building an diy aeroflo and using 5" fence post. I would like to know what is more effective, Spray line like in the GH aeroflos or 1/2 pvc with sprayers(small water droplet).

i am going to be doing three 4ft chambers

please lemme know, + rep

and also where is the best place to mount the sprayline/pvc sprayer pipe??

I prefer to keep all my spray lines out of the 4ft chambers because if they get clogged you can simply
pull them out from on top and clean out the sprayer head. I use earls method of using 1/4" hose
through a 1/4" rubber grommet and the 360 sprayer heads fit into the 1/4" line beautify.

yes i was looking at doing this method, that way i would only have to run 2 lines between the 3 chambers. My only concerns were leakage from the 1/4" hose connected to a PVC? and the water pressure for the sprayers. what pump size would u recommend?

I'm not exactly sure how to calculate how much pressure a pump needs, I usually just go overkill as the added pressure will only help make a finer spray. Currently for my vertical system I have 12 spray heads from a 800gph submersible and it works pretty well. I also have a 1/4hp pump for my mother system which has 22 sites which has some pretty killer pressure.

I have made manifolds external to the res as well as internal and both worked fine, I like running it inside the res as if there is any kind of leaking it will only go back into the res, downside you'll lose pressure without knowing. The external res I built works fine as long as you use pvc glue. Here are some pictures of my manifold inside my vertical res.

I have a home made one with 2 ea 4' tubes. I use a 390 gpm pump and it works great. My next system will include the spray tube mounted on top with the sprayers set into the top. That will give a little more room for the roots and you might not need to clean the enclosure at all. If you have the spray tube inside, the roots get tangled around it and you can't get them all out.

The ez clone sprayers don't really put off a mist; it's more of a "squirting". But unless you're going for the sub 50 micron aeroponics ( major pain in the ass), it works great. I use the red ez clone sprayers in my unit. I don't have the slightest idea about the sprayline hose.
