Spots on a few leaves Sweet tooth in coco

I have a few spots on a couple leaves on my 4 1/2 week old Super Sweet Tooth and Black Domina in coco this is my first attempt in coco and I have been feeding every other day with about 30% run off I'm using the GH flora nova line with grow one part, floraliciius plus, diamond nectar, armor si, and GH cal mag I run it at about 3/4 strength and have had no problems at all untill now also the grow media is roots organic coco palms naturally buffered everything goes in at about 600 ppm and comes out around 1000 ppm not sure if the climb in ppm is normal also I OH my water to 5.8 and it always comes out between 6.4 - 6.7 I think that's because it's buffered I pre rinsed 10 gal of 5.7 through it before planting in it but it still came out 6.4 - 6.7 so I said F it and went with it.

In my experience, that problem may be due to different reasons. It starts as tiny white splotches at first (like some bug infections), but as time goes on they will turn into yellow/brown dead spots and can spread to the whole leaf. Am I right? Is that what happens to you?

Not sure like I said this is my first grow in coco this is the first sign of a problem in 4 1/2 weeks from seed and it's on random leaves some old some new not sure what the problem is. But it is progressing on a few of the leaves moving from the edges down guards the stem of the leaf.

Can you take some pictures from the whole plant (not just affected leaves)?

Here are a few pics of the sweet tooth
If you look at some of the large fan leaves
You will notice a couple light yellowish white spots. And some of the small leave look to have burn but only 4 or 5 of them only 600 ppm other than that it appears health and growing good 18" tall in 4 1/2 weeks

I found that rule through experience when I tried alternating feeding with plain water in straight coco. That also matches up with just about every bit of conventional wisdom when it comes to coco, but then, we've argued before about conventional wisdom and coco. What is your experience?

Honestly I dont know why people worry about stuff like this...those plants look pretty healthy dude.A couple spots on an otherwise perfectly healthy plant really isnt a reason to get excited.Watch it over the next week to see if it progresses,but really...heh.

Coco and its weird CEC is a Pita imho,dont know why so many new growers run this stuff...calcium and mag deficiencies,potassium tox in flower...ugh.

I'm not excited just trying to learn all there is about growing in any media I'm what some call a protectionist just here to learn not get a pat on the back like most I understand you experienced growers see the same questions over and over again it's just went from 1 leaf to about 6 in 3 days that's all we con consider it a done deal I will stop asking questions and just grow.

I respect your experience my friend, but we all have different viewpoints and ideas about what a healthy plant is and how to grow it. Don't get me wrong! This isn't the first time I'm hearing about your recommendation on feeding in coco. People have lots of methods (sometimes opposing) when it comes to growing in soilless mixtures. One time a guy called me a moron for not feeding my plants 3 times a day in coco! But they don't know what happens when they put that much nutrients in their pots. They think every time they feed their plants, they are doing magic and nutes immediately transform into happy green leaves! Every time we feed our plants, they store lots of unnecessary and even harmful nutrients in their tissues (roots, stems, leaves, ...), because they are always uptaking what is found in medium without calculating their needs, to the point that they finally get burned! If you feed your plants the right amount/ratio of nutes at the right time, you don't really need to feed every time you water and it's best that you give them plain water once a while and give them some time to rest and use what is already stored in tissues. Feeding mistakes is one of the most important reasons that even the most experienced growers whisper these words to themselves after they first smoke their harvest: "Maaan! That shit was supposed to be a bomb! What is this crap?!". Of course they always blame breeders and talk shit about them! :wink:

OR

You can just feed less at every feeding,so the plain water doesnt totally strip your medium of nutrients.I dunno,more than one way to skin a cat.
