Sponteneous budding possible in non-autoflower types?

I have a half dozen plants I vegged with 24/hr light indoors from seed for about 10 weeks. I recently moved them outside, and they started budding. They've been doing it for over 2 weeks straight.

I figured, with summer coming, and the longer days, I'd get e couple months of outdoor veg and then let them bud with the natural outdoor light into September.

Can this continue? Or would it generally stop when the plants are used to the light? Has anyone ever seen continuous budding? I'd have to harvest some around the start of July when they're mature, but I'd think it would be producing more new buds at that point due to the shorter days and the change in light.

Is it possible for plants to produce continually like say a tomato plant?
