Splurging on a vape

THE KONASSURE

I just use a small metal 4 part

I still love putting a vapecano-b on a bong and getting the blow torch out, sitting in the dark with glass glowing

Hmm I only use my ariser to make a bag then plug it into my twin perc weedstar because I`m lazy I mean can`t really sit in bed with a blow torch.

Had a friend round the other day, South African big bong smoker, had him hit some AK and g13 from a bong going into carbon filter to a perc then into the bong 50cm with a carb, quote "wow this is like the 1st bong I ever hit fuck I`m high"

Then we hit the vape bong`s and he got way more high, funny how much smokers think vape just won`t get them high how stupid can you be ? lol

Just a warning - Ordered a Da Buddha from vaporizerkits.com ONLY because " All items will be shipped out of Southern California ". I email them and come to find out, my order shipped from New York and and the hurricane is causing delays blah blah blah. Fuckin pisses me off. I ordered Da Buddha thinking my order would arrive in N. CA in approx 2 days. Assholes.

Then

Vaporizer orders will be shipped via FedEx. Purchases Over $150 will require signature confirmation. Orders placed before 1pm PST will be shipped the same day. (US orders only)

I ordered the DBV on 11/6 at 11:07am and it ships 2 days later USPS and vaporizerkits tells me no sig is required. So there are three fuckin lies in one sentence.

The order did not ship FEDX.
No signature is required.
It did not ship the same day.
Not only did it not ship the same day from S. CA, it shipped from New York.

And to top it off, Da Duddha didn't come with any freebies like I've seen on other sites. The freebies are nothing really. Choice of a grinder, a small scale, and some cleaner of some kind.

I have no doubt that my order will arrive SOME day. If this " All items will be shipped out of Southern California " was not on their site, I wouldn't have ordered from them. My Iolite is taking a shit. Hopefully it lasts until my order arrives.

Then

I get an email today saying, "This order was shipped from New York. If we do not receive any more information within the next few days, we will have one of our other partners ship this item out for you."

That's really nice and makes me feel tingly inside but WHY THE FUCK did they choose to ship from a partner store all the way across the US in the first place?

Feeling mislead and will never order from them again.

There you go - fair warning.

IF u got 200$ and want the best vape available... so long as you have access to concentrates, delta9vapes persei is hands down best device I've ever owned... I avg5-8 g wax weekly so my tolerance isn't low... this thing makes oils go 1.5-2x more ...convienent portable and actually will get fuck u medicated out of ur skull

...

I use the Buddha Vaporizer daily though. It is solid, unbreakable. ceramic heating element. precise control for the exact temp you desire. Works great. $180. ...
Yeah? I was under the impression that the whole 2'o clock, 10'o clock thing was kind of vague? I'm considering purchasing this soon..

It is vague.

What you need to do is (with a bit of trial and error) find the highest temperature you can vape at without burning the meds, then use it consistently

You should maybe start at 12'o clock, then SLOWLY turn the temp up until you get burning (which, by the way, is absolutely nasty through your vape, and a mistake you won't want to repeat), then back down a bit, and MARK this as the highest practical setting. The peak setting should end up somewhere near 2 o clock.

The Buddha is very similar [to the Silver Surfer].... everyone who hits it says it is the best vape they have hit.
I've used both and actually prefer the significantly less expensive Buddha.

It has nothing to do with cost, just that I prefer how the Buddha wand mates with the heating element shroud so it won't fall out and you can vape one handed.

Let it heat up for 5 minutes... Long slow pull at about 11:30 (the dial) is bliss. So clean. It makes a sativa leaning hybrid feel like a super clean long flowering nearly pure sativa.
It's like your smoking hash, basically.
I don't find the experience similar to smoking hash, per se, but a low temp setting like you describe absolutely does give you a distinct trippy cerebral type high.

If you're used to smoking from a bowl or joint, the hit from these vapes is so smooth you literally feel like you're taking in air and you get the taste on the exhale, not inhale. You don't even think you're getting anything at all, until two minutes later and all of sudden you're medicated out of your gourd.

^^^ No shit man.

Something funny happened to me a few days ago with the Buddha. Well they say, "watch out exhaling into the wand". So I'm about half way through a session and exhaled just a tiny bit at the beginning of a LONG pull. The little pc of bud hit the element and got sucked back into the bowl lighting the whole fuckin thing. I'm watching this all happen, but was pretty medicated at the time and didn't realize the bowl was lit. Let's just say the session ended right there.

Da Buddha new owners - Don't exhale into the wand.

BTW - It seems that I need to turn mine up to 1:30-2:00 o'clock position. Maybe it's because I'm using it in my shop which is 60 degree. Still playing with it though.

I've smoked a few silver surfers and everything that has been said is true, BUT each silver surfer is a little different at which position the knob has to be turned to. This is because the hole that lets the air in past the heating element is slightly different size. IME the smaller the hole, the lower you want the heat. I can and have ignited the weed at the half way point on my ex girl friend's, I haven't done that on mine until it's at the 80% mark. Plus, different weeds react differently. I think the "digital" aspect of some of these vapes to be totally unnecessary.

Ok, so I am now in the market for a vaporizer and reading all the posts on this thread have come to the conclusion that the Da Buddah is a pretty good vape for home use and is reasonable priced, and I have seen the Da Vinci mentioned for a good portable use. Is there one that is good for both??? I have never used a vape before, so I don't really want to spend up to $200 or more and not like it. Can someone please give me some advice? I am looking for something that is hopefully portable and can be used with more that one person, I guess I can do away with the portable aspect but quality is a must.

I didn't read thru all the posts but DON'T BUY VAPIR....... they suck. I bought one for a friend a year ago and it was a waste of money. Buy another company's, or you'll be unhappy.

High Times did an excellent article on about 15 vapes, leaving out the Vocano which they agreed was the cadillac of vapes. It was in a last years issue I believe and was well done and very thorough.

Whatever you do, don't throwdown for a NEW Volcano.

$500 is outrageous. I'm on my second one now and it came from Craigslist (where I paid $300 for a like-new solid valve Classic).

Don't get me wrong, S&B make a quality vape and it's nice to buy new. But for that kinda money you could just go grab either an Extreme Q or a used one and STILL have money left over to go pickup an Oz to christen it with. :bigjoint:
Really, you're in your 2nd Volcano?? In how many years??
I've had mine nearly 6 years, and it has had the shit beaten out of it many times. Still works like new.
