This is ridiculous. Straight up stupid. This will do nothing to increase either size or trichome proliferation and is just a hippie myth.

What is the logic behind this practice Bill howard? I know techniques such as girdling fruit trees. But these one is new to me. I think it's a radical one. I wouldn't do that to my babies. Expecting to see what happens with your plant, just by curiosity.

Please show us how much bigger the buds are now and how there are Soooooo many more trichomes...
And I got news for ya.. Those plants probably had 4 weeks to go, yep you just jacked your harvest up.

Dude I don't think it's stupid because I have ten days left to harvest and I've heard when you do something stressful to ur plant it takes a couple weeks for your plants to hermaphrodite so hearing that I decided to chance it plus I have my good genetics in veg haha

Spoken like a true noob.... Yes I can tell by the amount of white pistils and the general development of your plant... It had much longer than 2 weeks by looking at the pictures posted..

now you sound like an idiot because you can't tell when a plant is done by the pistils, unless you've been growing those genetics for a while and you know what the pistils look like when your trichomes have matured whatever but dude you don't know what genetics I have and dude you don't have a microscope so just sit back down and shut your mouth

I don't care what genetics you have, when your buds are loaded with immature calyx and white pistils, you aren't even close. Trichome condition doesn't play a part until the plant is ripe as a whole... And yours had a ways to go. Not only by the pistils and immature calyx, but the general shape and condition of your flowers . when a plant nears ripeness the calyx will plump and the pistils will start to recede, most of the time darken, but not always. This condition of the calyx is key...

Damn you people were total dicks. Someone asked a legitimate question an instead of stating your opinion and Leaving it at that pretty much everyone was s total dick. Btw its a damn good question and who the fuck are you to knock what Someone does with there own shit. There his to do what he wants and if he wants to split his stalk then that's his choice. You don't agree simply say I don't agree and leave it at that. Sorry to add to a 2year old post but I myself was curious about this same thing and it pissed me the fuck off that instead of seeing how someone's results turned out people were just total assholes.
