splitter

Has any of you used the splitter used to make a 1000w ballast control 2 600 watt bulbs? If so does it give you the full 600 watts or light or just puts 500 watts to the bulb? I think sun pulse makes one of these.

i am using one right now and i love it im running a budget ballest from sunlight supply (magnetic) to the splitter and outputting two cheap (not sunpulse) 600watt bulbs .... i think it works great a got a little over a mounth on it seems to do what it says it does i have two ac reflectors and a 12 spot aero/nft setup will post pics and do a journal soon

but i will tell you right now i think its just wired in series so you could do a four hundred split over two 250watters or three 400 wats on one 1000watt just a though i havent tried it but would deff like too

it will all work...but research will show it changes spectral output of the bulb....a bulb rated at 600 watts gets a different spectral output at a lesser wattage......fact!
