So i was checking my AK47 today, doing ph and just visually looking at them and came across this. One of the new node stems has split in 2 and has new growth on both stems, Ive never seen this before.... Kinda cool but since im new at this im hoping there's no problems :weed:

I see that in about 5% of my OG Bubba's. None of my other strains seem to do that though.

An interesting side note: The ones that do that when I put em in 12/12 usually grow about 6 inches taller than the others. I have 3 in flower now that are doing that, I'll try to remember to take a picture at lights on tonight.

Edit: None of them have ever produced double, but because they seem to get so much more robust, they tend to produce a -little- more than their peers.

Ive seen this before on a few plants, in the end youre graced with about 3% addition in weight come harvest time thanks to the addition of some more little stems within the nodes of the flower cluster.........

Its only a good recessive trait i think, if both the mother and father came from genes that showed this furthering into whole entire new growth shoots and not just additional "Ruggedness" to the existing flower.

Think of it as the plant thinking it needs some extra armor so that flower cluster rolls around further on the ground once it dies and falls over to get those seeds all over. (Coming from a Cannabis botany point of view and not indoor growing practices)
