it is not a spider mite, but could be something just as bad. better take precautions . how big are they? spider mites are smaller than a grain of sand

Those are a type of mite, but they aren't spider mites. I forget what exactly they are but they are often referred to as red mites. I had one crawl in my ear while sleeping. Woke my up when it got to my inner ear. It literally sounded like loud foot steps and hurt. Once it crawled back out i squished it with a qtip. Never found them on my plants tho

LOL I met a hippy kid who was staying at a friends squat that was infested with these red little crab bugs, needless to say he was allowed on the floor but not allowed on the furniture and had to sleep in a corner away from everything. Poor guy, I hope he figured it out.

And about our game of name that bug , I am saying it is a bed bug tick super hybrid, that will infest the east coast if you don't do somthing about it right away. Though it is probably already too late

Oh I didn't stick around too long after hearing this story.

LOL those guys.
There was also no power and they were slowly burning pieces of the house as fire wood to keep warm. It was comical if you could look past the tragedy. This was when I was a teen and had hitched across the country and had dropped in on basically my group of friends older brothers
