Spider mites, Help!

Anybody spray Acramite, Bifenthrin, or dare I say chlorpyrifos (lorsban)? Also, somewhere I read spinosad in res water. beg of week 4 bloom, but I really doubt its systemic activity. 3% infection so far. Gotta stop this fire before it spreads.

Anybody put DE on top of their media before spraying so if they just knockdown they get killed anyway? Also... anybody know about DE killing lady bugs.

Ironically I have all these options on hand, I lean towards Bifen, but I'm really unhappy with the half life. I am afraid of lorsban in a sealed environment and don't wanna die. I will probably go with spinosad, and follow with Acramite over top (or vice versa, depending on how my chem storage hunt in the dark goes tonight), with a lady bug release in +7 days or so, and well, if it all goes to hell after that, nuke em with bifen. I would love to not wear a respirator for the next 2 weeks... That pallet of lorsban sitting out there sure looks tempting tho.

Other than an ethics debate, anybody got any experience to chip in?

I belive DE will kill any insect since it clogs the exoskeleton gaps that allow air in so they basically suffocate. I have no idea on those chemicals I am using Dr zymes so far.

I use Bifen outside my home, pretty sure I'd rather not smoke it. Go with the citric acid plenty of recipes, you can get it at whole foods, sprouts, etc. Spray it on, 20 minutes later, spray it off. Every 3 days.

Ok so I researched, spinosad and acramite are the soft ones, to use in conjunction with predators. So, yay for integrated pest management! Mites and ladies in the mail! And just think, we didn't even use the lorsban. Probably would have been like smoking lead paint!

Blast them with Spinosad then fog them with double strength Lost Coast Plant Therapy. Works every time for any bugs I’ve faced. Just know spraying spinosad on flowers will fail pesticide testing but it’s not known to be that unhealthy to my knowledge.

you have to spray bottoms of leaves then tops and hit every stem branch leaf then some. Spray everything completely or they will survive.

It's a nice article but I'd still be leery. None of those have been evaluated for consumption through combustion and inhalation.

you will burst into tears if you know what we sprayed on tobacco. Lorsban was the absolute first thing in the field. And sometimes we gassed with what was basically cyanide. Issue here is cannabis being schedule 1 the pesticide research isnt being done. Spinosad is organic, I dont use it a lot on fields because it kills the hell out of bees, but it is very safe like BT (which dosent work well anymore because no one planted their damn refuge acres). Anyways, I am absolutely trying to win the war as softly as possible. I may just fumigate the damn room with methyl Bromide when I'm done. Is anybody gonna ask how to get methyl? lol
