Spider mites - disposing of my plants

I've been growing cannabis plants by my window for the past couple of months. The plants have become infested by spider mites. I've decided to give up and destroy the plants as I'm only growing from hemp seeds (the nutritional seeds you can buy on Amazon) and I'd much rather not deal with them. I have a few questions.

1: Will the spider mites die off without my plants being there to feed them? I hate the thought of these little things spreading all over my bedroom.
2: Are there any simple methods of killing them off fast?
3: How do I dispose of my plants? I'm paranoid about the police searching rubbish for cannabis plants and tracing it back to me.
4: As I'm moving the plants, can the spider mites hop over to other plants lying around the house?

Why are spider mites associated with cannabis plants? I have cauliflower growing in another room. Why haven't they attacked my cauliflower?

Spider mites are relatively easy to kill off naturally. If you get about a half gallon of water in a spray bottle, add a teaspoon or two of garlic powder and cayenne pepper, and a drop of dish soap, mix it up, and soak your plants, they will be gone soon.

Most will die some will go into hibernation

Yes there is. The problem is killing there eggs.

Yes they can spread.

When they start making webs you have an infestation.
As said, You have to spray them. I spray mine with water everyday it washes them off your plants.

Are u an "only child"? Lol seems like ur being a bit of a sucky baby.
Spider mites are ez to get rid of if u stay ontop of them but to get rid of ur plants cuz u have them seems to be ......... I won't say it but u know what I mean lol

I get that spraying is the best way to kill them and I'll keep that in mind. If I were to leave whatever spider mites remain (I got rid of the plants so I'm assuming very little are left), would they starve without my plants to feed them?

I've read that spider mites are mainly a problem for indoor growers as they're protected from predators. Would this mean my outdoor plants aren't in any danger?

hahahahaha ....... NO & YES outdoor get them too

Spider mites are an egg laying bug, that said;
treat area every other day for two weeks to ensure you Kill every living Bug.
you have got to Kill off the fresh hatched little Buggers!
you can google there life cycle.
I would spray any surface, wall ,window sill, floor below window, any bedding nearby just a guess but within 4-5 feet of were you had your hemp plant. That really depends on how long you let the bugs live in your home.
Very cool idea about Hemp, I think need to make some rope I have got to get me some seeds from Amazon.

I was going to say eat it but not after you spray with with chemicals. Cayenne and garlic should be fine, add a little flavor.

You can always cut up small plant material and flush it, or add it to a compost heap, someone else's is good.

The plants have been in the room for 2 months and I have no idea how long the spider mites could have been there. 30 days? I've moved the plants all over my room before. The whole room could be infested for all I know. Would a little sprayer really cover this?

I'm getting really nervous about the idea of these things spreading. Would they really spread even without any plants to feed their young? If so, why wouldn't they have infested my room with no plants present? After all, if they can live without feeding on plants there is no reason for them to only be interested in infesting areas containing plants.

Since I've taken away their food source, they're probably starting to move around more than ever as they're looking for plants to feed off. If I open a window, will they leave? I'm even getting goosebumps about the idea that they got into my hair as I was lifting the plants today and my hair made contact with the plants. Come to think of it, this happens every day. People say that paranoia can help in a situation like this as it helps with ensuring that the infestation is dealt with entirely. As you might have guessed, paranoia isn't something I handle well.
