Spider mites day 18 flower

First timer and dealt with the mites early in veg. Cleared it up with neem and azamax. Didn't see a mite or damage for almost a month.

Put them into flower and noticed some white dots and saw a mite with my scope. I hand washed leaves and trimmed up lower leaves close to soil. Sprayed with onyx mite spray. Has anyone used it before?

So my next question is should I hit it with some azamax in 3 days?

These plants went so well through veg and now it's just one issue after another. I finally resolved a deficiency problem but now noticed the mites. Only on one plant so far and only on a few leaves

Yeah, probably would have helped big time if you quarentined and dunked everything in veg while you treated the rooms. Do this when you finish... good luck

I'm working with a single tent and only a few plants. The room was bleached and cleaned while i sprayed these in veg and like I said I was a month mite free so I figured azamax took care of the issue

Ok, well atleast you tried. Mites can survive azamax if you miss em with that shit, they can also go dormant for 6 months and will attack your plants once they dont have the immunity to sustain heavy pest damage (flowering).

When you finish, bleach the room down including the entire ventilation and fans ect, hang a no pest strip for a few weeks then start over with everything bleached scrubbed. If you take in clones then always quarantine them first, if you intake outside air then use a filter ect

Ok thanks so I mean is there any hope? Haha these things have put a number on my mental health. Have you heard or tried the onyx mite spray?

No, the only thing ive tried in flower was mighty wash which worked in one application, idk wtf is in it.
Lights and fans off for 24 hrs during treatment, wipe plant down with water before returning to light. Only spray/wipe fan/sugar leaves no buds

mites r tough bastards & azomax is good stuff but many times not enough, best way to get rid of mites,or any other pesticide resistant infestation is to alternate the use of multiple active ingredients, example would be 2 spray with azomax then 3 days later spray with " Captain Jacks spinosad" ,let the plants alone for a week & repeats the process of dual treatment to kill off any freshly hatched larve.

I can't remember if its azomax or spinosad but one,or both chemicals stop the mites ability to lay eggs, with dual killing agents staggered 3 days apart & repeating the process 7 days after your 2nd spray you'll catch all larve from the previous generation of mites before they can reproduce.

works every time

I believe it's azamax. I kept reading that spinosaid did nothing for mites? I read the instructions and also on this forum. I do have it so I'm not against using it. Just trying to figure out if it does in fact help with mites

no " single" product has EVER worked for me,not azomax or any other but my grows r bigger than most,a lot bigger lol

spinosad don't have as much knock down power as azomax with resistant types of mites but working in conjunction with another " active ingredient" it serves well,if u already have both products use em,if you've lost confidence in captain jacks then use another mitecide with a different active ingredient than azomax for the same result of death to all bugs, the 2 prong attack is the only way I've ever truly " beaten" spider mites where I don't have any again for several years

Sounds good thanks for the input I will definetly rotate. I don't have captain jacks. Right now I have azamax, onyx mite spray which I have no forum feedback but online reviews are great, spinosad, and pure neem I also have been spending time washing the bottoms of the leaves with water and a splash of soap
