Spider Farmer vs AC Infinity inline fans.....

Looking to get a new 6" inline with controller. Any input on 1 vs the other? Specifically looking at the Spider Farmer 6" and the AC Infinity Cloudline T6. I'm leaning more towards the latter being the controller is wireless, and the fan has a bit more cfm. On the other hand, hard wired vs bluetooth is always a plus, as it's less parts to fail. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

They’re both “hardwired”. The ACI Bluetooth just allows you to connect to their app and monitor/adjust stuff.

I use a few different ACI fan/controller combos and love them. No experience with the Spider Farmer stuff.

ETA: all of my controllers are the Controller 69 Wi-Fi models. Allowing me full control while I’m not home.

That is correct at least for the Ac infinity it uses a wire from the fan to power the controller. I love mine, light weight, very quiet, moves a ton of air, the controller could use more ports or the multi port adapters they show in the manual but don’t sell yet. I have the T6 exhaust, 2 oscillating fans and 6 of the T22 leds and love the set up. Also pre ordered the humidifier so will really need something to expand the amount of automation without adding an extra controller.

Thank you both for clearing that up.

Probably sends a bunch of other data too, user info is a big ass market and people with indoor gardens trend higher than average income so that data’s worth even more.
Yup, I’d imagine so. Data farming amongst humans has been around for a while now. It’s near impossible to 100% escape some type of monitoring/data harvesting. Especially if you live in a densely populated area.

Shit, in a non legal state using their connected stuff I’d be wanting a vpn. So much extra shit smart for no damn reason. I do like the smart plugs though, those are useful.
Thankfully, the legal thing is an issue I no longer have to deal with. I don't miss those days at all.

AC Infinity for way better customer support and controllers.

Just a regular Wi-Fi power strip that you can set your times on through a phone app. I use a bn-link, but a bunch of companies make them.

I’ve had to many bad experiences with vivosun products to even give them a second thought. Everything electronic that I’ve bought has failed within months. They’re ok for trellis netting but that’s about it, terrible company
