The company reached out and took care of the issue shortly after my last post. They did stand behind their product. Good customer service.

There's more people that have had this happen with Spider Farmer??? I won mine, so if something happens to mine, then I'm SOL,right??? Kinda makes me not want to use it now...

Jumping in at the end. I'm not there so this is a general casual observation. Heat syncs are to keep the electronics safe. Not you. These things can only get so hot before failing and probably stop heating at that point. The discoloration was away from the LEDs. What was behind that spot on the board?

3 lights here from Spider farmer - used the heatsink for other things (cut them up for fishing)- had a driver burn out/diodes died
Were your Spider Farmer lights still under warranty when they failed?
What model did you have?

Date of purchase 7/15/20. Not even a year ago. I will post their response.
@Spiderfarmerled posted a reply in your Thread on June 4 2021.

You just posted Jan 18th 2022 they resolved this. You should
have took the time to post their response as soon
as possible not 6 plus months later from June 4.

Could you post their reply / solution?

I consider this spam and will go with paying venders
Thanks but no thanks
Skip the Welcome as well
People make living doing service on new product because some of them will fail. The point is the company reaction. In this case the vendor has an account here and isn't exactly hiding. It seems the OP may have over reacted initially. Seems somewhat calmer now. ;)
