I've the opportunity to test out a Spider Farmer Se3000 bar style led.
This is my 1st grow with a bar led so it'll be interesting to see how it goes.

I've got 2 gelato seedlings ready to be vegged and I've some clones from various strains also ready to be vegged

In the next few days i'm going to repot the the gelato and two clones into air pots then get the branches tied down.

Edit:
I just wanted to add it's..
Coco and Ionic 1 part nutrient.
Temps 20/25c Rh 60/70%

There's not much happening just now the plants have been under T5s so I need to introduce the light a bit at a time.
_20220522_224955.JPG

I topped 2 plants last week I need to get them re potted and tied down.

The two plants I topped I tried grafting said tops to a root ball I've just flowered, idk if it'll grow if does idk if the growth will be veg growth or re veg growth?

Since switching on the led I've had to increase the ec to 1.2ec the run off is still 3-4 points short so I'm going to raise it again tomorrow.
_20220524_174307.JPG
I'm going to leave things as they are until I get things back on track I'm anticipating a week.

I tested the draw from the light and it's 300w +/- 1.5w
_20220524_174810.JPG
Temps 22/23c
Rh 60/70%
1 part ionic 1.2ec 6.0ph
Light 70% power @34" height I'll lower over the course of the week.

Today I raised the nutrient strength to 1.5ec (Ionic 1 part)
I know that sounds rich for young vegging plants but they don't look 100% and the run off is suggesting it needs raising, I'm not going to quote the run off figure from the 1st 1.5ec feed :-( it's so far out I'm hoping I've made some error, I'll know in a couple of hours for sure.
_20220525_164303.JPG
I've pruned back the clones and bent down the braches on the two king gelato, it's already been topped at the 3rd node I might trim 2 off I'll see how it goes, ideally I'm hoping to flower 3 or 4 plants.

Temps 23/24c Humidity 60/65%
Ec 1.5 ph6.0
Medium coco.

After raising the ec they're back on track, the transition from T5s to led makes my plants use a higher nutrient ec.
Yesterday the run off was catching up its 1.0/1.1ec from 1.5ec so I lowered it down to to 1.2ec.

I'm planning to flower the two topped plants and 2 of the clones but space might not allow.
_20220529_153300.JPG
So i've got something to try in a bid to keep them more compact?
I'm thinking about keeping one plant in 1ltr pot until after the stretch phase then re potting it?

I know for sure roots are still growing at 10/11+ weeks so there's plenty of time for a decent sized root system to grow after wk3, nothing ventured nothing gained bongsmilie

I re potted the 2 king gelato tonight (5ltr pots) I'll re pot the others tomorrow I didn't have time to finish them before the light went off.

I'll give them a couple of days before I tie them.

It's surprising how quickly they come on, 30/35,000 lux 66% I'll lower the light further tomorrow.

I want to see how the 1ltr pot affects stretch after flipping, if it's effective I can't see the problem with re potting afterwards and still getting a good root ball and some nice buds and keeping it compact?

That's only based on a few observations I've made it's not in any way scientific :-)

Let's see what happens?

I've Increased the ec to 1.5 and increased the light power to 100% 45/50,000 lux at 12/14"

That's just over a week now since flipping. _20220609_192946.JPG
Yesterday I removed a bag of lower shoots and gave them a general tidying up.
_20220609_193149.JPG
I also plumbed in the auto feeder I'm starting with 3 feeds a day 1.5ec.

I've only to net it now which I'll get done through the week.

Great job matey. These lights produce Rockhard buds. Your whole tent should be just a layer of fat hard buds at harvest.

A couple of pics from today there's not much to note just now.

One of the plants is using considerably less nutrient than the others.
_20220612_145358.JPG
My system is pretty flexible I can control each pot if/when required so I've put a tap on that pot to get the run off in the same ball park as the others.

I got finished early today so I've installed the screen with some support struts to keep tension in the net
_20220613_140802.JPG
It's 39"x39" I've a 2nd when the time comes I'll lower for support.

The net is only fixed at the back the front is hanging from yo yos so I've used a couple of ratchet hangers.

I'll start tucking tomorrow that'll be 2 weeks since flipping

17 days after flipping.
Tuesday raised the ec to 1.8
_20220617_123521.JPG
I've taken a few leafs from the front plant to try and encourage the lower shoots up to the light it's very compact compared to its sister, I've also noted its not quite as far on with pre flowers as the sister .
_20220617_123815.JPG
They're looking nice and healthy but I'm thinking maybe I was a bit quick with the net it's looking like I might need to get under the canopy to level it out.
_20220617_123846.JPG
But there's plenty of time just now and it might be ok?

I've now got my run off dialed in now to 15/17% 3x a day. 6.8ltr total to 5ltr pots
_20220613_152002.JPG
My run off catch tank aka a tub :-)

There's not been much change to note, it looks like the stretch phase is getting near the end.
_20220620_102618.JPG
The canopy is 17-22" +10" of pot height I'll measure them again later in week.
