Spectra 180 vs. Hydroponicshut Pro-Grow 260

I am looking at both the Spectra 180 and the Pro-Grow 260. The specs seem to be nearly identical (pro-grow markets it as a 260 but actuall pull is 170). The Spectra is about $60 more.

Any thoughts on the difference between the two in quality, core saturation or yield?

Thanks all!

Good question im also interested in the same thing. I have asked before but did not recieve much of an answer, hopefully you do.

The thing I like about the Hydroponicshut LEDs is that you can switch it from Veg to Flower. But I don't know if that is marketing hype or actually achieves the benefits they seem to promote.

I have a Pro-Grow 260, it's been budding autos while vegging out my seedlings & cuttings.

The selective switching feature is awesome for seedlings & cuttings. Just running the Blue/Whites provides far better output than CFLs, at a fraction of the heat.

The cool thing is that both lamps are great and you can't go wrong with either.

I own leds from both - I have 2 Pro-Grow 180s, a 2010 Pro-Grow 250(3w flowering chipset, 1w veg chipset power draw is about 155), and a 100w 3w chipset GLH UFO (135w chipset, driven to 100w input/output).

Both brands are of the highest quality. For my money and garden I prefer the Pro-Grows. I really like the switchable spectrum. My plants have responded well to it. I am considering selling my GLH and other non pro grow leds on ebay and getting another PG so I can have the whole room on a switchable schedule. Just my 2 cents. Would love to see a side by side though. I'm pretty sure they would come out pretty damn close.
