"special chemicals" for THC production?

Ok, so I keep hearing "you know they put loads of shit in marijuana to increase it's potency" I'm not talking about lacing it but some people say there are "chemicals" people add to the plant to increase THC production that can be harmful to the body? Is this true or just propaganda bullshit?

Low humidity, high light/UV, and good plant health increases TCH.That plus good genetics. Any thing else is prob. BS.

I'm not sure about chemicals increasing THC production, but some chemical fertilizers can be used to increase plant weight (yield). Not all chemical fertilizers are safe for human consumption, and if not flushed properly may be carcinogenic (cancer causing), or harmful in other ways.

So, not entirely bullshit, and another good reason to grow your own.

And not flushing will allow the ferts to oxidize your weed. Making it sizzle and pop like blackpowder. Not to mention the shitty taste/smell.

Potency is a genetically predetermined factor. All you can do as a grower is provide the best environment for that plant to produce the highest quality and quantity of THC as posssible. There is no magic chemical you can pour on the soil and the plant is suddenly covered in crystals, or at least if there is the greedy bastard is keeping it for himself! GL

Don't you think we as growers can do some to increase TCH/Thrichome production. Techniques such as adding extra UV light, Lowering humidity during flowering, and even some new experimental , none N-P-K ferts seem to e able to raise the potency of a plant. I personally have grown a plant from some mediocre bagseed into a plant that really suprised me, so genetics is kind of low on my list right now. If you take the three above mentioned methods of potency enhancment as providing the best enviroment then I agree with you, but I know it is possible to grow really good weed from seeds that came from not so good weed.
