question regarding lighting...so when i swap them to flowering...im intending to do a 24hour dark period, then swap bulbs to 2700k and a 12/12...does that sound about right?

yes a good yield is important to me,but knowledge well doing it is even more of a value to me...cant wait to get further into this grow and continue to upgrade the box for more stealth/efficency as i go...as i do plan on keeping this box for years to come to support myself...i will be building a smaller veg/clone box aprox 1.5ft tall out of a speaker box aswell...suitable to sustain a plant hopefully till the plants in this speaker box flower and are dried...i will post pics of the new veg box and new light setup for main box as i complete them

Hey there. I wanted to post in yours because I hadn't changed my signature to my new grow and I wanted you to see it. I have a lot bigger cabinet I'm working with now. I love the speaker box. It looks so damn pretty.

well ladies and gents this plant is getting frosty as a mofo...wish i had a better camera, but here are some pics... buds are getting fatter and fatter each day...and there are sooooooooo many of them! about a week ago i started using general hydroponics 3 part nutriets,no complaints, and it has seemed to help out a tonne!...i hope to harvest this within the next month or so and start a new plant!!

on a side note,i have picked up a larger set of tower speakers which i intend to do the same to...and have them side by side,i was thinking maybe one as a flower room and one as a veg room? opinions?

lookin good man...
I have a set of tower speakers and they work out great. I have another box already for moms n clones and veg...so both speakers are for flowering. They're built identically with a cob and some pc fans. I have them logged elsewhere...so I won't link it here. Search 'micro speaker cab cob conversion' if yer curious.

The toughest part about speakerbox grows (imo) is the height restrictions...so make sure to plan out the light source and make it really low profile...hollar at me if you need any help building it, I've built quite a few speaker box grows for myself and others. I highly recommend splurging a little for great equipment because they will easily pay for themselves on the first run. :) I think my tower speakerboxes costed around 75-100$ per to set up...but I can pull about 1.5 - 2 oz every 2 months....I wouldn't be able to do 1/3 of that with cfls.

i think for the next speaker box that i will be building i will be looking into led panels...any suggestions on where to buy? I also am thinking about using a larger pot for the soil...right now its about a 10" diamater pot,i was thinking of making the pots the same size as the floor in the speaker box... slightly matching the total length and width...and hopefully lowering the height,i am a huge fan of lsting as i have ended up with a tonnne of tops,so having the larger soild base will allow me to lst to the full potential,i didnt use a scrog this time around, but the way that the plant ended up laying out,i really didnt need to use one,the buds were spaced out well enough
