Sparking in the bowl

Alright, so heres the deal. My wife and I moved from Ontario to PEI and we had to find a new dealer because we don't know anyone for 1000km. Our new guy is pretty reliable, although he doesnt really ever know what he's selling us, just if its good or not (this isn't bad, he actually sold us some really cheap purple haze).
Lately with our last few buys of his latest stuff whenever we pack a bowl it often the weed will spark and sizzle in the bowl, even long after we've had it lit. I figure this probably isnt the best thing because it means weed is combusting when we're not toking. My question is this, is there anything we can do with our weed so it wont spark? Is this even a bad thing? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

My weed snapples and cracks occasionally when I light it. It could also be seeds exploding :?, you know if your shit is male or female? Male has seeds which will explode when lit, and give you headaches when smoked :-?

Dude if ur weed snap pops and crackles, u need to better check for any seeds and remove the stems they crack to.

i live in halifax, and if it's the same crackling i had for the past week or two, it's not seeds and shit. it's just the occasional crackle? i dont find it to be a problem, though it can be frightening. aha.

It's not frightening but it can be startling if you're a few bowls in and you forget about it.
But yeah, its definately got seeds, it happens far too frequently each pull, like it sparks along a wick in the weed, poping sparks a few times.

Stop smoking seeds. Break down bowls better. Maybe start your lighter not over the bowl so flint doesnt drop into the bowl. It sounds like seeds poppin.

na i think i kno what hes talkin about. some times when i tap my bowl with my light ill see a lil spark. i doesnt make a sound but only seems to happen when my lighter is involved.

I have gotten that spark too, and in sensimilla even. Is yours much like a "run" in a bowl? I'm just talking shit because I am drinking tequila and we all know that's NEVER a good idea.

When I used to smoke cigarettes, I would get that pop and sizzle like a tiny trail of gun powder. Maybe your smoke has additives.

No, no, no. Im smoking a bowl right now and that shit is making weird noise and crackling. NO its not seeds or stems, im smoking it in my bong ;and i know how to break up buds. Besides, im almost positive theres no seeds in my nugs. But shits kinda scary. My old dealer told me that there was 'fiber glass' in it if it was sparkling and shit. Idono what the fuck, but shit isnt straight.

It's simple, lack of flushing leaving chemical nurtrients in the weed. We used to see that a lot before we figured out about flushing . Just a dumbass grower all round if it's seeded too. Time to grow your own eh?

ive read weed snap pops and crackles because it was not flushed properly but im not sure if this is true the expert growers should know

the reaon your weed crackles when its smoked is not cause of seeds or stems. the plant simply just didnt have enough time to fully flush all of her nutrients. its not a bad thing, but when you flush thouroughly and cut the plant right in the end of the dark period you can harvest a plant with no fertilizer in the buds which ruins the taste and can create a crackle. my bowl i just smoked as i read this crackled a few times. lol just a fact of life i guess when you have to buy someone elses, and not grow your own.:wall:

man I got a really shitty bag once, it was full of seeds and stems but I was to lazy to pick'em out, man the bowl lit up like the fourth of july when I hit it. was kinda cool but got annoying after a few hits

Ive heard of that happening when weed hasnt been flushed and still has ferts left in it. Ive had weed sparkle sometimes too..
