Spanishfly´s modest effort 2010

Hardly a grow journal, joined this forum far too late for that.

It is 2010 28 July, I have 3 girls growing on my roof terrace, White Widow, feminised seeds by Seedsman. They are JUST beginning to show early signs of flowering, white tufts are gathering. My grow area is a bit cramped, so photos were shot from the level above. I always tie my girls down - makes every branch act like the main cola. A couple of pics - not quite sure why they are positioned differently.

Thanks for the kind words. My first grow I didn´t, just let them be a Xmas tree shape. But after that, I have been tying them down, I am impressed with the number of big colas I get.

sonofnothing, it is not a hard technique, just tie the top of the plant to a lump of concrete, until the top cola is horizontal. It will soon grow vertical again. Good luck.

September 16 - latest pic.

Colas are filling out, lower leaves yellowing and dropping off - all is right with the world. Will get the microscope at the weekend.
