Spacing out plants in tray

Okay I had a quick question that I think I need to get answered asap. This is in fact my first grow and so far it has gone close to flawlessly. Its a tent grow in a 2x2 ebb & flow system and there are 4 plants as seen in a recent photo on my avatar and they are currently under a 6500k t5 20k lumen fluorescent.

The question is that I need to space these plants even further because these bushs are starting to get really close to each other with their fan leaves getting ready to branch even further, they are gonna be hugging soon. I put them as far apart as I could and still be directly under my light but now that I see I need another fluorescent light to cover the entire system, I am going to switch to my HPS light to finish their veg cycle.

Sense my hydroton is already in the system and I have moved some of it to check on the roots and the roots are everywhere. What is the best way to space these plants out? just gently remove the hydroton around the rockwool cubes and around the roots and then move them? or is that even safe! thats the big question. But one thing is certain. I cant leave these plants where they are the rest of their lives! and if I do will it be a big problem when they are fighting over light because of how close their leaves are.

You could allways trim the leaves off.Or just flood the table and pullthem out and trans plant you should be allright I would think.

Lol!!! good idea cuz Ive done it before but not when they were this big haha so yeah Im high and completely forgot about that lil technique! lol thnx
