Go watch it if you can. I saw the space shuttle take off a couple times. Pretty amazing to watch that sheet go up and disappear except for a little circle of light from the engine.

5 hours away, you should see the fire and smoke trail from there.

I hear it's a great town, even if it isn't what it was before Katrina. I'd love an insider's perspective when you get back that way.

Been away since December 2005 (because of Katrina). Saving to buy a house there but the real estate market sky-rocketed since Katrina hit.
