SpaceBucket

I have my spacebucket pretty much complete, which I intend on using for a mircogrow this fall/winter. It is constructed from one full bucket and three bucket tops. The full bucket has holes drilled for drainage, as well as an 80mm pc intake fan. I am going to cut a small passive exhaust hole in this bucket. I have two bucket tops that will be used if height requirements aren't met by the full bucket height plus the light lid. The light lid contains three 23w warm cfls and one 42w cool cfl for a total of 111 watts. It also contains a 80mm pc exhaust fan and passive intake. I placed 1/8" thick, clear silicone material under lights to create a chamber so the light lid will be cooled by the air pulled through the cfls from the passive intake and through the exhaust. It is wrapped with electrical tape and lined with foil tape to make it about 100% light proof, minus the obvious fan holes.
I ran the box for an hour and the temp topped at 88 degrees in the lower portion where the plant will be. With the small exhaust cut into the full bucket, the temp should drop lower Tell me what you guys think!

The bucket is 100% complete. I attached the surge protector and added an exhaust port in the main bucket that may be closed (air dumps out of this thing, I'm excited). I cleaned up the wiring as well. I can't wait to use this guy this fall!
The last pic is going to be the point of view of my plant.

Place your space bucket orders by pming me with specifics of your desired bucket. Prices starting at $200.

Lmao last part is a joke. Tell me what you guys think!

Personally never understood the point of SpaceBuckets, it just seems easier to buy a small grow tent and get it over with. But I've often felt like tinkering, so I guess I've spent my time building stranger things.

Also, E27 LED Spots might've been a better choice for lighting, but it's a bit too late now since the sockets are on the sides. Hopefully you'll get some good bud out of that thing.

I built this as more of a hobby grow container that I know I won't really have to monitor that much; my plant cannot grow into my lights, I'm installing a grav. fed easy watering hose, my temps stay consistently at 80 degrees with lights on. I'll be able to move this little self contained grow anywhere, quickly. I have a separate grow closet that I use for larger grows, but I felt like constructing a bucket micro because I thought the idea was really cool. I'm sure I'll pull at least half oz with it, but most likely an oz. But, again this is for the fun of constructing an ecostystem for a plant and watching it grow and not about the amount of bud produced. I'm adding a scrog screen and I purposely put the cfls on the sides because I plan on assembling and installing a custom cob in center up top which will shine directly between the cfls. It will slowly become a fat bud producing monster once I add the cob.
Thanks!
